Yes... Have you really searched though?
Change: The acquisition rate of the Malruk Succubus Claw and Scarlet Moss items has increased. Taik Orc Supply Leader - Cemetery monsters now drop Scarlet Moss (rather than Splinter Stakato Drones). The request from the Head Blacksmith in the Town of Goddard, Noel, has been removed and is no longer available.
Change: The acquisition rate of the Ring of the Goddess: Waterbinder and the Necklace of the Goddess: Evergreen has doubled. A character can now obtain the Rain Song Staff of the Goddess through one of two methods. (Previously, the only method to obtain the Rain Song Staff of the Goddess was through Barakiel, the Flame of Splendor raid boss.)
Method 1: Obtain the Rain Song Staff of the Goddess through Barakiel, the Flame of Splendor raid boss.
Method 2: Hunt Wailing of Splendor, Fang of Splendor, Crown of Splendor, and Shout of Splendor monsters to collect 100 Fragments of Rain Song Staff of the Goddess.

possesor of a precious soul is the noblesse quest series, you do them to get noblesse
mimir's elixir is the subclass quest, you do it to get a subclass
to become noblesse (ie to complete the final possessor of a precious soul quest) you need to be 75 on your subclass. There is no either or. First you get a subclass, you level it, then do the quest to get noblesse. Or as has been stated you do TW and bypass both the subclass and noblesse quests with 100 badges

My main was lvl 85 with a sub under 75... I am not sure how credible this is.
well then go do the possessor of a precious soul series and camp out Barakiel, the walkthroughs are posted above by Irijs
no need to camp anymore, you just hunt mobs now... I am thinking they got rid of the baium quest all together, because to become a noble before you needed a bloodied knife, and now you don't.

What on earth are you talking about? Baium has nothing to do with the noblesse quest. Barakiel is a raid boss you need to kill (ie be in the party that gets last hit on) for possessor of a precious soul 3.
It's not like you 've been told thrice already there is nor was there ever Baium involved in the noblesse quest :S

False.
To finish subclass you needed a bloodied knife years ago, in some update (GF i think) it was changed so you could choose between bloodie knife or 30 bloodie texture thingies.
Baium is in no way conected to nobless quest, as Zuff said, it was said more than 1 time already in this topic.
Nobless quest can be started at 50 on subclass but only at finished if you are 75.

Alright, it's been sooo long since I have done it, just doesn't seem like I would have be rediculous enough to get to 75 but apparently I was.
in noblesse quest pt 1 you need lunargent x5 and hellfire oil (from the supplier of reagents quest) ... I've got almost everything except Demon's blood

Is Barakiel still a level 70 raid boss or is he a quest mob now?
Also one of the subclass quests (cant remember which) is a pre-requisite for processor of a soul. If you get your subclass from tw badges you'll need to get noble from tw too. We ran into an issue a few years ago when people created subclasses before they put noblesse in game. Before Baium even, and they hadn't done that quest so they had to go back and do it before they could get noble. I can't remember if it was Fate's whisper or mimir's elixer though.

I suspect it's still a raid boss since someone said to me that she still has the orange Raid boss title...

Actually it's the opposite. You get noblesse and THEN a subclass slot from the TW badges.

UPDATE ABOUT NOBLE QUEST:
So everyone knows the noble quest is TONS easier now.
The first quest completely had the reagents part cut out of it as well as the Stakatos. The second part is just a bunch of talking (if I remember right), and the 3rd part you can get 100 drops in VoS instead of killing Barakiel who is still a raid boss.
This series of quests can actually be completed in one day now. I'm currently on the 3rd part getting the 100 drops and I know a friend who has already finished up the chain in a day.
