really? then why are people QQing saying that it takes to long to lvl in L2 and they need to increase the Exp rate LOL.
Because they are all tools. To be honest i wish it went back before GoD as this is way to easy iv played since C5. not that long but yea this is just stupidly easy.
If it took as long as it did to get from 1 to 40 people will be 85 and higher in no time. what kinda makes me think where's the rest of the game gone and the sense that you have worked for it. and it is even easier with this path of awakening what gives you gear up till A or S grade i do believe. I understand the first bit was a bit boring but its cut out a whole chunk of the game now.
The problem wasn't that you leveled up too slow. 1-40 was ok in term of speed. The problem was the way you did it. Mindlessly killing mobs is boring, whether I have to kill 10000 or 1000.

Ofc it is, they are making a new game. Just imagine all characters are 0 ppl gonna start complaining where are my 7 years of the game. Now they keep that and after all cut the 1-85 bullcrap and make a new game and split the classes again. Just think logically folks.
Agree with this, went to do second prof quest for my dwarf, lvl 41, completed it and got to 44...

This is a more role playing based starting game.. but when u arrive lvl 60 the thing is just as always.. it's like l2 had taken wow idea's for that.. but it's just fine! I like it.. i think is so cool to start like that.. and then the interesting lvl (60 and on) just a looong travel to fight and siege etc :)
Be careful what you wish for... they could just reset the grind to be like prelude/C1 and it would take everyone months to get to level 20 and you'd only have 50,000 adena to show for it!
Level 1 to about 60 is really going to be about learning about the game. For all intents the new "lvl 1" should be like 76 or so (some may argue that its lvl 85).

I hate in MMOs where a endgame can beat every other player mainly because he doesn't have a life at all in real life and no responsibilities (AKA job, girlfriend, family). It's like... getting beat by somebody of lower worth, if that makes sense. With this easy leveling even higher level (I don't mean 85) players can still suck, so it's more about skill. Reminds me of Guild Wars..

Why do you want to linger in the beginning if 40 is less than half the top level?
