I attempted that quest with my Temple Knight and I failed miserably during the last part of that big battle.
Any hint how to manage that and do I have to do it all over again?

Assumption: You took the healer.
Don't take the healer, she is useless.
Assumption: You used skills that provoke enemies
Don't! The NPCs can handle themselves. Just lend in a little extra damage to speed things along.

Idk if on the fourth job change also has, but on the third there was an awesome archer that said "Boom! Headshot"
He is awesome =P
