Maguen Appearance

What do you do about this thing when it appears and steals your items?

The Maguen Plasma Collector doesn't have any effect on it.

This just another annoyance coded into the game for our enjoyment?

hit him precisely (it's the matter of timimg) when he jumps up; he will return your items and sometimes give a bonus

Thanks. I will try it again next time with a /target Maguen macro since it is not targetable in the normal way.

Thanks for the tip this guy was irritating me big time.
I even failed when I did a /target macro...

So I made a

/Target Maguen
/Attack

And just spam it, and it was easy. ;)

Use this macro when Maguen jumps up and waves his hand

To be precise, you can hit the Maguen for about 1 second or so right after the message that he stole something pops up on your screen. So have the /target Maguen /attack macro on your hotkey bar, and when the little clown appears, start spamming the macro as soon as he jumps up and keep spamming it until a second or two after you see the text message. You still won't be able to hit him EVERYtime, but I manage to hit/surprise him about 90% of the time and regularly get between 2000 and 2400 items with my enchanter.

I am doing a different approach. As soon as I see the message I mount the horse and run away from him.
