Are any of you over 85? I think it's Bad, and they went in a wrong direction with this game.... Don't get me wrong, they made a lot of nice new changes, but to me the downside outweighs the upside in this case... My character was changed so much, it's not fun at all anymore.

I am 84, but i played on Russian Beta, and yes they changed it so you feel like you never played Lineage 2 before, and this is sad...
This update certainly isn’t the doom and gloom that was preached by many on these very forums for the last several months. I have had a smile on my face every time I logon and that smile has not waivered while I played. I can't wait for the weekend’s events!!!

I have a smile on my face since mid november, when i find out L2 was finally going to be free to play on official servers. I'm still static about this, and im enjoying loads of times here... i wish i could play more tho... frkn grown up responsabilities suck :3
I'm loving it, but I'll also admit I'm not invested into what the game was before Goddess (started in November). What I do see and love is the renewed interest in the game, and hope that its a financial success for NCSoft as well as bringing new players into the game. PVE or PVP, players are invaluable.
I like it since I dont have the amount of time to play that I used to have before. But the hardcoreness of L2 is gone. It is now more cassual and noobfriendly. Mass of people flooding the chat with "GM LVL ME UP PLZ" while mindlessly walking around says pretty much everything. I predict Shilen being the server with lowest reputation of all, known for the noobs playing on it. I really pray for the most of them to rage quit asap.

You are not seeing the big picture, lots of hardcore players have come from private servers... those kinds of players that never could play official for money issues.
Lots of newbies, ofc, like any other mmorpg that goes f2p, like that ****** DC universe... omg that game looks and feels like ****, will never play it.
