Is it rly for chars that hit 40 after GoD.

If thats true thats a bit unfair, what if i was 41 after GoD started....

Any other way?

only characters created after GoD launched seem to be able to claim the mentee certificate from the website for the 2nd class reward

i do recommend remaking your lvl 40 character tho and find a mentor, i lvled from 43 to 52 in no time at all
