The mobs listed above are not in the location specified for this quest anymore. I went to Dark Elf Village and all throughout the Dark Forest there are only level 85+ mobs that are not kill-able by anyone who are level 20. I spent the better half of an hour looking all around there and even going to areas like the Spiders Nest that say are level 16 to look and they are all level 85+ still.
If this can get fixed that would be awesome as I see other races with their wolves already and I assume they don't have this problem.
Agree, I could not find any quest related mobs too. I did the quest with a second char (dwarf) and transfered it to my DE, but for DE's this quest is definitely bugged!
Okay good, glad it's just not me who was running into this, if they do not get this fixed within the next day or 2 I will have to do this quest on my human fighter which I was gonna play as a secondary and transfer it to my dark elf. 'Tis a shame this one was overlooked as I'm sure a lot of people don't know what to do about this.
*Bump* Anyone else encounter this issue as a Dark Elf? Just want to make sure I am not missing out on anything that I shouldn't be. The most replies about this the faster it will get fixed.
Hi there, same here..i've been wondering around for 2 hours already..made a petition..no reply..then I remember to check on this forum site..then I've read your posts..now I'm disappointed..anyway thanks for posting this..I hope they will fix this problem so I don't have to make another character just for this quest.. ^^:D
I think when the wolf evolves to great wolf and then to fenrir, which would be level 70, then you can mount on your pet..
But that's a very long way to go..
As of now I'm level 47 and my wolf is just level 18..and I made an alt char(dwarf) just for this pet quest and then transferred it to my dark elf(main)..
**NOTE: One thing I noticed..when I do a quest and completed it..it seems that my pet doesn't get his share of XPs I got..is this normal?? :confused::confused::confused:

As far as I am aware, a wolf only gains XP through actively engaging in combat. So no, quests would not award the wolf any XP.

You just need to have the pet out now, it doesn't need to fight. Best thing to do is park it somewhere close to where you are grinding, close enough to where it will still get xp. That way you don't have to worry about it getting aggro and dying.
I have the same problem. I'm already created a ticket withthis issue for dark elves. I don't want to make another char only to make this quest and then transfer the wolf! :(
