Mentor System Issue

Eligibility

To be eligible to become a Mentor, a character must be level 85 or higher and Awakened. Mentees are characters who are between levels 40 and 84 who have a Mentee Certificate, which they receive from the level 40 Exploration Pack that the Truly Free system delivers upon reaching level 40.
As a character of level 54 as of GoD update I never received the in-game mail with the mentee certificate attached. Is this part of the desired design for this and anyone over the level of 40 as of update is now ineligible for the mentor system? I would like clarification on this as the information provided is extremely limited and there are no other solutions.

And what about the ppl that are 50-60-70 after the update,they dont get to be mentee.I mean C'mon....That aint fair at all!!

And at the NPC doesnt say anythin about items,just accept the inv form the mentor.

Yes any level over 40 till 85 cant do it unless they have reached level 40 during new update... that is not fair one bit. I shouldn't have to start my character over to become a mentee to give someone and myself the benefits of the system. This must be an oversight. Well, I hope it is.

I think its fair, you have to get to 85 to achieve it.

Well i hope i can give you a little bit light.As far as i know if you miss the reward claim when you need to pick it up its done you cant get it.But there is option in dimensional merchant to send this items from another created char on same account.So basically if someone is like 60 lvl its worth to do fast 40 lvl char on same acc and just send this claimed items through deminsional merchant to his 60 lvl char. In this way you can get this mantee certyficate and find a mentor ^^.

Do you even know what we are talking about? It really has nothing to do with getting to level 85 as part of the program, that is the ultimate goal of course yes. But the system allows you to get there faster and with items, buffers etc. So it is absolutely unfair to not allow someone who should technically be eligible, not, because they were past level 40 at the time of the update.

This does not work. i made a char 40 and tried to transfer, the item does not appear on the list to be sent to another char through the dimensional merchant.
This kinda screwed up my plans as now my main char that is 48 has no way to get this (i made him 40 before update to get stone of destiny) and got no way to reach 76 at 14th -.-

Create a newbie char & level to 40
Claim rewards on the website for the newbie
DIRECTLY RETRIEVE those rewards from the dimensional merch on your OLD char (not the newbie).

One the cert is taken out of the merch, it can't be traded anymore. BUT it can be taken from the merch by a different character to the one that claimed the reward. (I just checked - my level 28 has the option to retrieve my level 47's mentee cert).

Tested, works, has worked for multiple people.

Just make sure you don't have too many items in your inventory when you try to claim your reward.

Luciferia.. great post. But it only solves the problem for people who have room left to make a new toon. We shouldn't be penalized for having 7 toons all above 40. There has to be another solution.

Well most of us get 40 off of the class change quest. lol Or as it is now, 41. But yeah. :P

What will happend if a Mentor dismiss his Mentee. Will the Mentee get his Certificate again so he can take naother mentor or no?

The Certificate is always in your inventory.

So if you leave your Mentor, or your Mentor dismisses you, you just have to find a new Mentor. That's all.

Let me clarify, all 7 chars past A grade. :D

I shouldn't have to delete one to get Mentee Certificate. There has to be another solution. It's not so much deleting a toon and releveling it up, doing the 2nd class change that bothers me, it's the one-week wait for the char to finally delete. :(
