We got a Stone of Destiny cos we "love" our characters so much and may not want to Awaken to class we played for so long. Without PTS and actually testing it for myself I wasnt sure which class I was going to choose. I read the forums and I felt I still wanted to stick with my class. I know we should have all chosen Wynn Summoner^^ What ever.
I Awoke my DN as Tyrr Warrior and now that I played this class, I know this is 1 class I dont like. I want a do over. Will there be an opportunity in the future to switch? Cos even with Stone of Destiny and NO PTS to test these classes we got to opt out of our class but how many of us are unhappy with what we chose and if we had PTS we wouldve chosen differently...
I know I have sub and so it shouldnt be a big deal right?? or make another toon start over on new server... Who is with me on this? Im sure I will get plenty of flames for this but Im sure there is some people out there who understand and may even agree with me.
Hmmm, I wonder if I should have titled this "Unhappy with life after Awakening" or maybe I should have directed this topic toward NC Soft or a specific GM, I thought that I would have gotten more responses from the player community^^
Na, you're not the only one. I know a few people who are less than happy with Tyr Warrior. It was really ****** of them to skip the PTS, so at the very least I hope they eventually offer a dual/main swap service. My guess is that they will, so you should take that into consideration in deciding what to dual class.
I'm sorry you don't like your class......... I went and watched the russians pvp all day for hours and hours to see what class i would choose.
While i did not get to play any classes on the Russian servers....i got to see what i liked and what i didn't like and moved forward from there because of no pts for us. I am very happy with what Ive chosen....but if i would have stuck with my class like you i think i would have been a little upset.....
So i get where you're coming from and I hope there is some way for players to fix this mistake because its mainly NC mistake not yours. They cant just change the game so drastically and expect people to know what they are doing if they don't let us test...people are going to get upset.:confused:
Like i said in Orc Mage section, im an ex-DC and im lovin my new awakened class Summoner =). All Awakened clan mates are very happy with the new 8 class's
+1 Sixtynine need one item to change 4 class only 1 time at least.

As for a sort-of workaround (unfortunately not helping ppl who already chose their 4th classes and not valid after Innova EU goes live on 7th) - what I did was get the EU PTS client, and since you get a lvl 85 character there with the option to do the Awakening quest I made a few to get some idea of the new skills. It's laggy as hell though and launches in a very odd manner, not to mention the oddest ever translations but at least it's something :(
As a ex-Duelist going for Tyr Warrior i must say it feels horrible now. I barely have mood to play atm.
The lovely skill spam of ranged single + ranged aoe + close single + close aoe was beautiful, now its just lol.
Alone the fact that Tripple Sonic Slash with like 4sec reuse got replaced by a skill with 28 sec reuse sucks.
(Also the new skill stuns for like 1 sec + knocks the enemy/mob back. Funny is till i am back at the mob/enemy the stun is already over, lol :confused:)
My DN isn't going Tyr Warrior. Yes you can still AOE, but it's not the same. It's a own class mixed with Tyrant, Gladiator, Warlord and Destroyer. A flavor i don't like that much.
So Far i've gone ISS with one account and summoner with my main. Loving it. Marks working great and give a lot of deep for combat mechanics. Now it's not as dull as before to play summoner. MArking different mobs, controling selfhealing and cc enables true multitasking so taking on 3 - 5 mobs at once just rocks and it's not boring to grind.
I honestly didn't think I would hate it as much as I do. I tried playing it the last few days, it seems so dumb down. Now i'm so bored with it. I really need more of a challenge for something to keep my interest.
I'm leveling up my sub atm and looking forward to awakening it.
I'm so happy I awakened from my EE to a level 86 Healer with a Recharge that just about any moron who can mash buttons in any random order can play.

...agrees, wish they kept the old classes rather than smashing us all together into one. Also losing years of long hard work only to get reset back to lvl 1 is a bit sad too.
However, it's not all bad. It is a bit easier to get a party as AH in pve parties. But it's far to easy to play as you pretty much never run out of mana even at sieges...
Tried to duel another healer yesterday and we couldn't kill each other at all. Ace wants mana burn back but maybe dark backfire will be better after 99...
We need answers of the administration, at some time we were users that we pay for playing and us to deserve a solution to this problem.
Many persons started playing and the server are heavy, but the old prominent figures have this problem and do not want to continue playing.
