Okay so, first of all i have to say that the leveling curve untill now was fairly easy..and i enjoyed it, i saw lots of new enviroments and npcs..and other stuff..liked the items aswell and the history..So now, im 44.......and I just found out there is no good new content for this lvl...
So what, i mean, do you developers just allow us to lvl up through quests fairly easy up to here and now u want us to grind all the way up to 99? What is wrong with you guys? Seriously......
I was just way too exited for the fact that i could do quests to lvl up, i could aswell do instances and enter kamaloka...Now all i have to do is a bunch of greendy quests for aparently no good reward..why is this so? I can go into kamaloka once every 22 hours...am i to do the only interesting thing left only once every 22 hours..? And where is the rest of the new content? OH yeah, over lvl 76... Im sorry but im not grinding like a chinesse stocked in front of my pc killing mobs without ANY fun but the fact that at some point i will have enough lvl to experience some new content..
Am I missing something here?
There are daily quests that get you a couple of levels a day. Beyond that yes, this IS a grind game and eventually you have to grind
You must be new to retail L2. First, please consider how old this game is.

Next, open up your map and go to world info. This will guide you to leveling and quest areas for your level range.

L2 is not a "storyline" MMO where it holds your hand and tells you a story. At least, I've never found it to be like that. What happens is that you pick up lore by exploring and talking to people more than you do by some large quest chain.

The new quest chain taking you to level 43 is something I've never seen before in L2. It's practically like a campaign from Aion.

Outside of that, you're on your own.
so when I hit 41 and transfer the certificate over to my lvl 71 main, imagine how disappointed I felt when the "main" quest was at 73, and it didn't even fill half of my bar up.

They only increased the quest lvling for low levels (1-38) after that, you're on your own.

PS:

And the quests they do give, are like:

go get 100 or 200 of these items which are dropped from (insert long list here) and have like a 20% chance of drop. (Pro grinding right here)
1 word: lineage
it has always been 1 of the most hardcore grinding games, i liked the 1-40lvl change but it's still the same game, if u don't like grinding u can try a private pvp server
The fun is in the group of friends you make, the clan you are in, the pvp and so on... Other than that, this is not WoW. If you want to be spoonfed levels that go play that one. This is a hardcore grind game. Grind to 48, do pailaka, grind to 52, get your B grade, and so on.
Doing the 1-41 thing was a kinda a refreshing change.. even though it was faster before if you wanted to solo RBs but still it's a nice change. If they had changed the entire leveling all the way to 99 or even 85, i probably would have left because it became something this game never was, and if i wanted to play a game that easy i'd go play something newer.

The lore for Lineage 2 always came from when they released new expansions, on the old website there was a section where they would release stories of what was going on.

That's old style lore for a game right there!

Currently I find I'm leveling up too fast with not enough money for when I run out of limited rewards.

my old main is now level 64 or something; my "alt" wich was level 20 at god launch, is now level 61; I caught up with my main by playing casually and doing QUESTS.

DOING QUESTS in LINEAGE 2. I am equipped with limited to 30 days top A grade armor and a +4 weapon with a special ability.
Thanks guys for the quests page..I hope to find something interesting right there..
I just thought they were going to spawn out some more instances for every 10 or 15 lvls or so..Would have been kinda cool...And also the fact that they did IMPLEMENTED A BUFF SYSTEM THAT GIVES YOU A MOUNT for a limited ammount of time that allows you to do a somewhat long distance in a really short time.. I mean, couldnt they just spawn some more of those npcs SOMEWHERE in the map? In a route to a leveling spot or something..I mean, they just did all the programming and the texturing of new models, they just had to move those things and implement them in new zones..=.=..isnt too much work is it?
Oh but well..I will just probably do kamaloka and some quest daily up to lvl 76 and see what the awakening class is all about.. ^^
Just to help everyone, here is a list of new quest that helps you level up faster.

http://www.lineage2.com/en/game/patch-notes/goddess-of-destruction/quests/new-quests.php

PLEASE READ!, there are tons of quests, new and old the same to level up. However at the end you have to grind. that is something you cant escape.
korean MMO for the win.

I have been doing 2 of those 70-74 quests but once I finish them and try to get the 'awakened' quest the npc says I do not have the requirements or something...

bug?

I think you can only do 2 dailies per day.

well, the mechanical kukaburras are being "tested" according to the story in-game, that's why they "break down" after a short time.

I would wait until we recover from Shillien awakening so the guys in Talking Island can send them over to the main continent.

Cos you know, well hidden, there IS a storyline in L2.
