Today I participated in the dark elf village campaign just like everyone else. There were many participants doing that campaign. The huge disappointment was that when it was time to hand in the quest, hundreds of players blocked the view of the npc. This caused problems for people finding the npc to hand in the reward.
This cost peoples time and efforts and lets not forget shots participating in this event only to see people leave without nothing.
Can the developer do something about this so that when it's time to hand in the quest that people can see the npc regardless of how many number of players are next to it. Either make the NPC 50 foot tall or have a huge flashing indicator so that even those with 1 eye can spot him out from the other side of the world.

Frustration.
So simple such as do this: /Target (insert here NPC name).
Gents, how about we think out of the box and look at simplicity yes.
It would be nicer to have something visible rather than typing up commands to find an npc. Not all of us are Nasa coders, so for a lot of basic users visibilty does help. Sounds like your telling a blind man to read something before doing. -(

I'll specify to you a little more on "newbie explanation".
First, the first one thing you have to do it's to introduce this command in general channel: /Target Phanteon (for examle, the name of a NPC).
Second, use the command "Attack or sword icon that you use to hit something/someone. That's all and you'll get finished your quest.
For crying out loud. you guy's are still not looking outside of the box. Yes the command has been around for ages ages ages. But what i"m trying to make clear is wouldn't it be nice to have an alternative. Have you played any other mmo's before. Can you think out of the box or are you some type of person who likes to clean dishes by hand when you already have a dishwasher next to you.
Targeting isn't the problem, it's the **** lag when 100+ people are all standing around the npc. I had to wait like 10 seconds between turn ins until the window popped up and then my l2 client finally crashed. GG.
You don't need to type the name twice... xD
Oh yeah, heaven forbid you should wear out your fingers typing a few extra characters.. that's just plain barbaric. :D
This may help you a bit Chippi. If you go to Options in the game, and then click on the "Game" tab I believe it is on the top of the screen, there will be an option to hide other players names.
When I left Talking Head Island and went to the Town of Gludio (I think that's the name), there were what seemed like hundreds of players sitting there with their private shops. All I could see was a sea of player names and shop advertisements. I had an extremely hard time even seeing an NPC, not to mention an NPC's name. So I decided to look in the options and found this. It helped me a ton. I could actually find the Newbie Helper without frustration :p. By not seeing all the players names, I can now actually see all the NPC's names. I run my game like this now.
