Only experienced the stuff from 1-62, so i can't really judge the whole update. But so far i'm about even. There are some good things and some bad things. Kinda makes it even.
I might agree with you with the F2P thing, cept for the fact that now i don't have to pay for my GF's 3 accounts when i take breaks. It's kinda nice. My piggybank appreciates it too.
It was a core feature of the game. And now it is gone. Not all are griefers. Unless its pking people like you, then its ALL ABOUT the griefing baby.
PvP is a core feature, PK is not, the changes to make PK more hardcore are good for the game, but you don't have to like them or even play the game, that's your choice.
I am kinda loving it, kinda hating it. I mean, I am glad that I get to play it finally, but the lag is really getting in the way of my enjoyment. Maybe when it is fixed, I will enjoy it for real.
It is kind of frustrating taking me 5 years (off and on a few times) to get to 84 and 2 subs 76+ when some ppl doing it in a week or two. How much money was spent in monthly subs for 60 months x $14.95 a month? Don't even want to think about that in real dollars.
But I'm not crying about it. I kinda enjoy that it is not nearly as "grindy" as it was. Started a new toon today and in less than an hour was level 40 that is kind of cool imo.
But L2 was never about power leveling for me---just logging in a partying with friends is what kept me. Hearing how everyone's day went and occasional dramas is kinda what holds me.
