Yul Archer or Sigel Knight?

Ok, so the time has come to awaken my character. Instead of jumping in head first i wanted to assess the situation and see what each new class had to offer. Iv been happily playing my MS all the way to 85 and i do love being a archer but recently wish i wasnt made of glass and could take a beating. Mainly because i PVE solo 100% of the time and would be really nice to if i could take the pain and relax abit instead of keeping on my toes all the time.

So its a toss up between Yul Archer or Sigel Knight. Both classes seem to have amazing skills and look like tones of fun to play! I really do enjoy Archer but am wondering if its time for a change or have archers never been better?

Id like to know if anybody has had the opportunity to play both classes, just to ask for a short list of pro's and con's of each class?

Any advice is appreciated, thanks for your time!
I can only say that they are quite different in various aspect that you must consider.

As being a Archer, your goal is to kite the most, the closest your enemy is to you, the worst.

As for Knight, it's exactly the other way, your goal is to stick to the enemy like a **** chewing gum. The closest, the better.

As for "stats" and around, this is a little summury

Knight:
- Slower speed
- Requires close distance to attack (since you can't use chain all the time)
- Tons of P.def and M.def (including other P/M.def skills increase)
- Golden Lion Summon

Archer:
- Fast runner
- Kite possibility, the farest you are, the more damage you do, and the less damage you get
- Unfortunatly, low P.def due light armor, nevertheless, high evasion and speed compensation
- Thunder Hawk Summon

Extra notes
For Soloing pvp/e i would go to Knight, for nice party, Archer would kick ***

PS: You probably knew all this i said, so sorry if it's a worthless post
I am greatful for any advice thanks! Its just i need a bit more of a deeper summary. Aside from the Light and Heavy weight factor. I need to dirve deeper into the relms of each class :)
Guess everyone must be to busy playing :P. Someone must be able to give me a heads up on either class...... please :)
I'd like to stay with I haven't played either class but I have done as much research on both as you probably can as this is the same question I was running into, what to awaken to. From my understanding of the two it more comes down to if you want to be long ranged or melee. Both will be wanted in groups, Yul for AoE parties with Feoh, and Knights since every party now needs a tank to do party areas. So grouping on either shouldn't be an issue. Knight's obviously have more HP and survivability since they're tanks, but Yul have ranged and high damage from everything I've seen. In the end it comes down to what do YOU WANT to play, as both would be viable options.

Guess iv alway loved playing Archer as i love the range and speed. But i alway hated the low HP. You just generally have to be more alert when playing light armor toons guess id just like a break from it but then again i will probably miss it eventually haha. Well im only 7 levels away from awakening my alt so i guess if all goes wrong i have a back up plan ;).

The main reason i asked is because from the looks of it tanks arnt as slow as they used to be? Unless i saw someone over buffed im not sure. I just wanted to know if much has changed. If they are as slow as they have ever been then i dont think id be so interested! Dam! I wish i did know what i wanted to play! I wish we did get a PTS :P
Here is what I would do. Go Archer as a main and dual class a Tank. I have a few friends that are doing that to get the best of both worlds. once you awaken both classes, you STR will be high enough to carry 2 sets of armor and 2 weapons as well.
Good call! Although the slight problem is my alt is not a sublcass from my main. Its a completely different toon on the same account. But i guess i get the best of both worlds if i finally awaken her ;)
Do em both!
Do em both!

Haha, on it ;)
