1. I heard dwarves are the ultimate gods of blacksmithing, crafting, generally making stuff and milking the economy.
With the new update of GD they look pretty much useless for that matter until 85+.
So my question is : are they good after 85?
I've got a DE BD and i'm thinking of making myself some goodies and leveling a dwarf (female, so i can get raged at from all the people trying to click the tiny minuscule chick), if the class is indeed worth it.
2. There's pets, there's wolves, there's kookabura's..i'm confused..which is pet, which is considered something else..which is good for what class and how do i lvl them fast? ( i had an alt that literally got 30 levels higher than the kookabura)
3. I've chosen DE BD for it's versatility ( and hopefully later on usefullness in pvp), being needed for party ( almost all melees ask me to squad for buffs) and being able to solo pretty decently.
Are there any other versatile classes ? Looking for something to lvl after i get iss enchanter on the DE.
4.Where can i check the server's status? For example the maintenance that's going on now..i want to know when they're up, rather than trying myself to log in every 5-10 min.
A few small answers, since I haven't played around enough yet in the new update.
Dwarves - Have 3 (skills) which make them the masters of the economy. Spoil/Sweep - Allow you to pull additional drops from Mobs. Sometime of the mobs spoil extremely valuable stuff. Next crafting. Even if/when the market is crashed from all the free gear and there is no money in making armor/weapons someone still has to sit around and craft all the Shots people will need. The more people on the server, the more shots will be used, therefore, as long as there are not droves of R grade shot making dwarves on, you should make a killing just making and selling shots. If you can get an SE or 10 to help you out, way more adena per hour made. Lastly, they might be small, but they are by far the strongest toons in the game. Not strong DD wise, but ask even the strongest Destroyer to carry 100,000 shots, and they will fall to their knees. Dwarves can carry alot more, so if your feeling energetic, and want to corner a market, sit your dwarf down in a packed hunting spot far away to be easily jumped into from towns and sell shots ect with marked up prices, for convenience. I haven't jumped on my dwarves since the update, but I don't think they changed that much???
2. Any thing that requires you to hold an Item to summon, and rez it when it dies is a pet. Not really sure what your question is there. The DD pet is a Wolf. Striders can do some tanking, some damage, and like to give you rides. The baby pets (Kookas, Cougars and Buffalos) are buffer class pets. Kookas recharge MP, so are loved by all mages. They also buff you with Mage type buffs. Buffalo is the Melee pet, as they heal you and buff you with Melee helping buffs. The cougar is a mixture of the 2. Heals you and the buffs are good for melee/nukers classes like a kameal. Unless they changed things much, the Dinos are just good for storing items on.
3. Almost all classes are fairly versatile. Healers can transform into nukers when their healing is not required for a group. The 3 summoner classes would be my choice for the most versatile of all. Their summons do good damage. Warlocks cats do major melee damage, and they can also buff your parties, and summon party members to whereever you are on the map. The Phantom Summoners do great melee damage, and can self VR so they can go for hours solo without problems. They can also pinch tank or heal for parties. And the Elemental summoners do good nuker damage, and have buffs that really help in nuker parties.
4. No idea, there used to be alot of great fan sites, that had server status on them, now they are mostly gone.
