Any of those would be a better description for the lineage 2 service. I just spent the last 3.5 hours grinding out 28% of my level in the least crowded area I could find. By least crowded area, I mean my melee only character spent hours bouncing around like a ping pong ball, while trying to kill something before one of the hundreds of casters in the area nuked it from orbit.
I guess I could try doing my daily quests if any of them were actually daily like the guide, patch notes, and website claim.
I gave lineage 2 another shot after all these years, but it's just not worth the frustration at this point. They should split the servers to reduce the overcrowding. Take 30% of Shilen and 30% of Magmeld and place them on a new server. The daily quests should also become daily.
Yep, dailies should be daily. That's why they are flagged as repeatable and they say "come back again tomorrow." Its simply bad coding that prevents them from working properly.
... Really? You never thought that since there would be like 10k+ people ALL starting out at the exact same point that the leveling areas might be packed full? Really? Go to like Dragon Valley. No one is there. Odds are there are some people at Fog but really there are tonnes of areas that aren't being used. Give it time in order for the spread to increase, right now all the players are in the same areas cause they are all in the same levels... Don't start *****ing about how packed your leveling areas are when you really took it upon yourself to play on a server where the entire idea was that all the areas would be packed. The point in beating it was to get ahead of that spread and keep up there... Some friends and I were leveling in the best areas before people even got there. I was at the end of it but there are others that have yet to see people in their leveling spots and they are leveling amazingly easy cause everything is open to them.

i don`t know what class you play, but i`m telling you that you can make the quests at any time you want...make them when you know there is not over crowded. As for me i`ve always found a spot where no one was there

What? I didn't have trouble completing them. The trouble is that they were not daily as described. Leaving me with the only one option for xp, compete for mobs in extremely crowded zones.
L2 isn't really known to be great with their questing system. Even with GoD, it's still extremely minimal compared to what you did years before: grind.
But I understand your frustration but you have to understand that when GoD launched to be "Truly Free", people of veteran, returning and new status are going to log on and play the game. Even if they open yet another server, how would you know it would equalize the population of the other ones out? It would just give another heavy trafficked server for NCsoft and the other four servers still quite full of people leveling away.
Tbh, I LOVE it! I'm always in a party and love all the variety. Yeah, there are a lot of people and a lot of competition, but to me, that's what makes a MMO fun and challenging. ^^
Though, the dailies really do need to be dailies. :/
You know, there are areas that are really crowded, but I think people are really overstating things. I just started up with L2 the day it went free to play, and I hit level 43 last night, and I've found lots of spots that are completely open.
Just last night I went to the city just South of the Ivory Tower, and decided to explore the surrounding areas. I ran into a lizard man village, and an army encampment belonging to some group of cool looking, militaristic beast men. I spent a good 20 minutes just rolling through there, killing at will, and I only ever saw 1 other player, who was way off in the distance doing their own thing.
Hell, at one point I was standing five feet away from a raid boss and his minions, and there wasn't a soul in sight. Had I felt like getting turned into a corpse I could have taken them on and no one else would have even known I'd been there.
Sure, some of the path areas have been overcrowded with folks nuking everything, but there's been a whole lot of open space for me to roam and grind out levels.
