Exactly this. Doing those things will get you an instant ignore by a lot of girls and you will just look like some desperate, creepy guy :p. At least from me that is. Can't speak for all of course.

Just saw your comment. Definitey this. It's so annoying to see the ones in chat constantly letting everyone know they are a girl. It's sad really. My thought is always "Yeah, so what? You are a girl. Big deal", lol.
And yes, the decent ones do definitely tend to stay away from the guy that is following you around, flirting, calliing you "babe", "sweetie" and all that. I can't help but find it hilarious. These are cartoon characters we are playing basically. I find it funny when some kid starts hitting on my character. Sometimes though, it can be downright creepy.

Because some people either don't care to do the right thing or don't know what the right thing is, so they harass, steal, insult, and judge. I was lucky enough to mostly come into contact with pretty awesome ppl. On a side note, I think OP is a troll anyway :D
There are girls in l2 ofc. I'm female, i met my bf in l2 (thats why it is our favorite game). Was lucky enough that he is living in near country. We're together 3 years and getting married next month. So you never know where and who. But yes, there are girls in l2, sometimes i even think we are more than you, boys :P Look at the RL pictures thread :)

There are many girls/women in all MMOs, L2 is no exception. Heck, most of the old L2 EOGamer staff were women, many good looking too.
Though I think the ratio of L2 has shifted towards there being less real women than before, many of them moved to other games. Considering I am one of the few people with some actual statistical knowledge to actually back that up (Data from the old stratics and the newer EOGamer), I can say it with a degree of confidence. Though straight up observance should be enough.
But no one can actually truly know for sure, not even NCSoft, as some has lied on their account info.

Apart from the fact that I think the boys (non-dorfs, sorry dorfies) look really handsome in L2, being a male in game is very beneficial for the sake of non-harassment.
There's an issue with it though... for example, I spoke with this girl for like almost a year with my male SE, and one day I said "Oh my husband's coming home so I have to go."
And she was like "you surely mean wife."
And then, for the next few hours, she wouldn't believe I wasn't a man. I think she still thinks I'm a gay man or something...

I'm not denying women don't like attention, especially from men they like. However those terms I mentioned above are demeaning in the context it's used, but if you're in a relationship that's a totally different story. I agree with your last statement. It's not so black and white though, I've met a variety of women online who think and act differently, and if you bring two extremes to me I can guarantee you there are many women to be found that fit in between those polarities.
I met a nympho once on an RP server who was highly attractive AND intelligent (went on to become a corporate lawyer) and chose only specific men on that server she wanted to be with. As a matter of fact, the last time I talked to her she wanted to set up a webcam biz and had a list of men she wanted already. The crazy part is, she never wanted to be with any of the guys that were in her area. She found people in a role-playing game more interesting.

Being on a mmo like L2 for some can be like being on prison or the army. A lot of testosterone builds up, lot's of hormones, and we're all mostly young, we are on our climax. So it's no suprise some like playing with a girl, it's a diferent atmosphere

Second, I do pretty much agree with you. After I posted my comment, I realized I pretty much fed the troll. Trust me, I understand the concept of people who get off on other people's frustrations and anger. It's sickening. It's just when I first read it, it really did offend me and I just had to respond to that. Forgive me, but comments like that really get under my skin.

Ok, the second paragraph you went on a tangent and has no relation to what I said. I said nothing about any girls except for in the first page, which I think was post two. I have no idea what that had to do with the post YOU quoted from me.
I'm not offended at all, you misinterpreted my post and I corrected that mistake. It had nothing to do with getting to know the girls he's talking about, I wanted to know what he meant in the parenthesis since it looked like an error (he said male twice if you check) which is why I only quoted that single part and not his whole post.
