What I want to do: Change my 78 Spectral Dancer to a 78 Doomcrier
What the problem is: The Subclass NPC on Talking Island doesn't allow me to choose Doomcrier as a subclass to switch with.
* Yes, I was on my sub when I tried to change
* Yes, I know you can't have SD and DC at the same time anymore, but I just want to trade one for the other, not have both
I have petitioned for help 3 times, all 3 times GMs have responded that they are unable to provide gameplay information and that I should ask my friends for help. This is a bug, not gameplay information!
I'm beginning to think GMs have been replaced by a piece of software that just replies from a list of automated responses.
With the change in the update, you cannot sub something that ends up being the same when its awaken, ie. BD & DC both become Enchanters... I wanted to change my Sagittarius to a Swordswinger, but I already had a DoomCryer... Sucks, but Meh.

You have awakaned to same 4th class (Iss Enchanter if you don't use the Stone of Destiny). You can't change if your main it's awakening to same path (Hierophant, Dominator...)

u have to change to something else uy dont have, then back to the class u had
I know that this is how it should be solved, but I only have one class change certificate, so I will have to start back over at 40 to do this, and lose my level 78 status.

I understand what your saying, but technically you already have an enchanter to be, and that status does not change unless you get lose the SD first... I understand your TRYING to change the SD to a DC, but the fact remains until you get rid of the SD first, you won't get options for another Enchanter type Class.
Great. Even more restrictions I didn't know about. I guess that puts more limitations on what subclass to choose if I want to add a second and third subclass to a character, since I haven't done that yet.

Yes, but the fact that you cannot both lose and gain the same class type concurrently is obviously something that the developers overlooked.
