its totally normal, take an example a town, if you port there what happens? your computer loads everything so while you walk everything goes smoothly, chars, npcs, etc
same happens in toi, even if the chars arent near you, your pc loaded the WHOLE TOWER, even the npcs which die in toi 1 and respawn while you are in toi 12, and since is so crowed with many people, and many npcs dying/respawning
its totally normal, what you could do is restart the game client and continue in the same place, that atleast will refresh it
I have a huge lag in toi and my internet connection is normal 50~80 ping.
i try to low all graphics and npc range and still lag.
i try some ping reduction programs and didnt work.
any suggestions? :/
probably 50-80 it is your ping, but try to do one ping to the ip server
cmd --> netstat --> and look 2 ip like each other, like this
172.146.5.9 :8080
172.146.5.90 :8080

now, go to cmd, and put down ping 172.146.5.9
or, ping 172.146.5.90
probably u don't have problemes with ur home connection, but probably u have problems with the server ip.
if u don't have problems. install TeamSpeak 3, when u will connect to one ip teamspeak server, right button on your nickname, and get ''more info'', there will appear a few information about ur net connection. if u have Packet Lost... u most wait, or call ur net company.
if u have like a 20% packet lost, it is so much!, just like a 1% or 2%, probably you will experiment a few miliseconds of lag, delay, etc..

I'm having the same problem. When I port to a city I have lag (it's normal here), but when I enter in toi I have a delay like 20 secs +/- and it's impossible to play there. Any1 can help me?
