Well, maybe NCwest didn't calculated, that we will have every server close to full all time. Yes 6000 players are a huge number so if we all start move back to town it can make easier crash, I guess Naia need a better server config or localization back to Europe (if the second option help anything).

NC didn't even open a PTS to see how many errors they made with GoD (and trust me they're a lot). You really think NC tests events like this up-front? NO WAY! Since L2 is F2P it's one big craphole of bugs, exploits & bots :(

in the 7 years I have played this game NCNA/NCWest has NEVER worked on a weekend. At most the community manager (or board moderator(s)) might login to the forum from their home to do some cleanup but yeah, the servers are on autopilot ;)
It's obvious this is a serious problem. Nothing stopping people coming in for over time. If they got this sorted soon they would make that over-time pay back in a few hours from MT's.

Oh, i didn't mean test the event :( i meant test a fix. Obviously. they wouldnt test this on the test server because it doesnt have the same problem as the live servers. It just doesnt have the players to stress the servers OR the Bots that plague them. They might just be bringing it down every now and then to test.
All im saying is, im giving them the benefit of the doubt. :o

I love a server full of bots. I just really wonder if botting is unlegit how u could not ban full bot clans that have reached 96+ levels in 1 month :mad:

ehh its really hard to play in those conditions...
ok the game is free but it shouldnt mean that it sux .....
it takes about 30 tries to log in - havy trafic and server is not stabile crash in most important moments - TW , sieges .....
on first siege it crashed between siges it crashed just before second siege it crashed ...
ok mby Naia is less important than us timer server but here also are players who want to enjoy the game

Have you thought that the fixes are not tested on production environments for whatever reason? This is the stupidest thing to do.
They have their own test environment where they can test all day long and even burn it down to the ground.
And for my two cents a point regarding truly-free. Since some people pay with their real money for some kind of service from ncsoft, at least they (ncsoft) should respect and value their customers' money and give them at least the chance to login within reasonable time limits.

You actually think that since F2P GM's do give a **** about the servers..? Or the whole game for that matter..? Did you petition lately? I did, and times increased from 36 hours during subscription to 2 weeks now :( And still they give you a ****** answer in most cases...

Lol at everyone telling OP to "go back to your private", when it's pretty pathetic actually that private servers with large numbers of players are able to maintain better uptime than an official company.
Private servers often (always) have their own issues, mostly due to corruption and overpowered cash shops (nevermind the outdated content, lol). But it's quite pathetic that these amateurs are able to host lots of players, banning bots AND provide better uptime.
