Bro, are you telling me there is no point in being a member of a tightly-knit and highly-skilled group of people that play this game as a party all the time and have great fun kicking *** in pvp? I'm afraid i disagree.
You didn't say you were looking for a tightly knit group of people, you said you were looking for a constant party, big difference.
Constant parties from GF are over, when you say CP, people think of the kind of party who must play with each other 24/7, box each other's chars when they can't be online, and the group gets ****** if one person decides to quit. The reason CPs existed were the huge quest/gear grinds in GF where inviting a random, or even clannie outside of your CP to party meant lost gear/QI, and when it took weeks of grinding nonstop to get a level at 80+

Well.. I've not played on retail before now, but i've always been a member of a CP on private (lowrate) servers. And i guess my definition of a CP is a bit different from yours. When i say "constant" i don't mean we have to be priming 24\7, i mean that whenever the defined party prime-time is (6 hours for me), everyone must be online and exping\questing\pvping with that party. Meaning there is no other group of people you play with; you know, trust, and can rely on your party-mates.
I'm doing this because i'm very tired of playing with people that are absolutely incompetent in this game and have no clue as to what they're doing or supposed to be doing.

I only play this game to play in a good party and PvP. If i wanted to be grinding alone - i'd be playing Tetris. For me, finding a CP is more important than playing a specific class, because i'm a versatile player.
I think you'll find CP at level 85. Best way to awaken as mage is repeating sailren attack quest (15kk xp) on primeval island. It's kinda sad, i know... but i hope the game will be better later!

what do you mean best way? you can do Altar or DVs too, not only a bow can kill there you know? i mean DD=damage dealer but somepeople think DD=BOW
a buffed mage can kill alone in altar, with simple chs can kill in DV
but the problem right now is practically every mage and many ees/se/bps are in PI so you wont find a mage pt in altar
Altar XP is pretty fast, the mages should go and make a pt to go there insteand of being all day in PI fighting for mobs and ksing each other, in awakened everything can be in the same party is kinda nice
