If you don't attack with anything and you're close to it, it will continuously sleep you till the point you'll have to end-task the game.
I didn't attack because I alt-tabbed in the process of moving forward, but this is one dumb skill mechanism.

And here I am sitting, waiting to log back in. Please have some logic before putting updates like these (2nd class quest congestion, NPC above actual ground level - Cruma NPC)
Having done her on 4 Characters since GoD + about 15 people in clan that did her, not single one of us had the problem, granted even on my SwS it took a whole of 11 seconds to kill her but still (only 2 Ranged Chars)
It's because you attacked without having it a chance to sleep before it takes a single blow. I ran forward while alt-tabbed, and had that sleep-lock happen.
Even if I shouldn't have alt-tabbed, I sure as hell shouldn't have to go through the trouble of end-tasking a game that won't let you leave the game 'while in combat'.

Sorry for your luck, I've done that quest at least 3 times since GoD and probably 5 or 6 before GoD and never had an issue.
Yup, if you are already running forward when you alt+tab then you will go to your destination, if you are standing still and you Alt+tab and try to click around your screen too quickly you will change locations, also when you click to open your game back up your character will sometimes move as well, its pretty strange, I solve this problem by sitting first before I tab.. thats just me, I don't exactly plan on running through an aggro zone just to tab back in and find out I lost xp and possibly dropped something (as rare as it is, dieing while tabbed because you ran through a room of aggro is exactly the type of rare time NC is looking for to make you drop your loots)

Except of course, you haven't dropped anything when you died for a couple of years now (unless you are red etc)
