@NC, I have a serious question.

So I play a melee dagger class, and as a melee dagger class I only have one closing ability that closes distance on a 1minute and 15 second cooldown.

As a class that doesn't have the ability to get really close to mobs quickly it takes me a long time to do dailies, but what am I supposed to do when a ranged character, or even an orc/dwarf that has a very low CD gap closing skill, comes into my spot and takes it?

I can't compete with a mage for daily updates. I can't compete with an archer for daily updates (unless they don't crit a lot), and I can barely compete with other classes as well.

Since I can't PK anyone, how am I supposed to finish my daily? In the Shrine of Loyalty it took me nearly 2.5 hours to finish my last daily quest. I ask for parties, but I don't get them. Why? Because they don't need a leeching dagger that wont even get to the mobs.

Its absolutely ridiculous that I can't PK someone to keep my spot, and its even crazier that I need 500k fame to remove 1 pk. So what am I as a dagger supposed to do? Say screw these lovely dailies and just go grind? Because that is currently the only option that I'm faced with now.
Flag on them and hope they flag on you and then open a can of "Woop-***" on them. Or, time a Mortal Blow or whatever the skill you are using to go off so it does the last hit on the mob.
Indeed shadow step's cooldown (25 times higher) is really ridiculous, while dwarfs and orcs who are supposed to be slow and not able to reach a target too fast due to stun skills and high HP, they get a reach-target skill with 3 sec cooldown. Thats just stupid.

I try to do that, but in shrine the mobs die in 1-2 hits. I'm not even half way there by the time the mob is dead.
Pretty much all you can do in that situation is to do like all else that are packed into one area for the daily quests . . . Hit all mobs regardless who is first. *If you get attacked for it then defend yourself. I haven't turned red for killing a purple who attacked me first. :) If you die, have a "friend" run out there and BREZ ya or start grinding to get your XP back. GL, not much else you can do except try to be respectable which doesn't seem to work in-game anymore.

+1 nobody cares if you need quest, they probably thinking, "im gonna get mine first, they can wait. and since the new pk system is in play they won't dare kill me, so i can be a little ***** and piss off whoever i want now!"
