Bug with Basic Stats

General Discussion Started Last reply 20 posts
hello everyone.i consider that con attribute is epic fail.i realised that my human knight lvl 35 had much less hp than a dark elf knight at same lvl, armor, buffs.also my friend kamael rappier has more life than me.after this observation i tried to create characters and check differences with this result. human fighter 138 life ->dark elf fighter 152 ->light elf 153 ->kamael 98(but my friend has more than me in higher lvls) ->dwarf 143. really i cant explain these things.please someone answer soon.
Different races start with different stats; for example orcs start out with the highest str (I believe haven't paid much attention lately) and dwarfs start out with highest con (which controls how much HP you have). Its really not that difficult to understand; if you would have bothered doing a little bit of research you would have been able to figure this out on your own.

what do u mean mate.first of all dont be ironic.i am playing l2 for years.humans have better con generally so they should have more hp than dark elves.stil my dark elf friend has more life than me human knight(same lvl same equipment same buffs).explain this to me.
I'm a paladin, i have around 700 hp less then both elf and dark elf tanks of my level with the same buffs and equipment. Seems like they changed humans to the lowest hp race. I'm sure we got some other buff to make up for it, but i haven't figured out what yet.

i understand dude.maybe some bugs exist even here because as i read in another post ncsoft didnt have time to test all these new features.but that is a big problem.races with higher con to have lower life than others.i hope next downtime will fix this issue

Like he said if you had done some research you would know that things changed, since I know you won't look it up here you go:

Human fighter has 82 con standard. Dark elf has 77 so your an idiot for not even paying attention. 82con=more hp than 77 yet somehow Dark elfs still have more than humans at this time.

Have you factor in what class they are ( yes this matters ), what passive HP skills they have ( yes this matter to ), Gear, Tatoos.

Do we need to repeat it for the 100th time?

Same level, buffs, no Hp bonus from passive, same gear, human with 5 more CON than delf. And delf still has MORE HP than human. ANY class of human right now is owned by any delf class in terms of HP. This is simply unaceptable.

Finally some people understand what i am saying in this thread.to these who dont understand, think that we are playing l2 for years too so dont underestimate us.i know base stats of races.and this bug need to be fixed soon.

finally someone who understands the way it works. +respect for you.

There exists base stats of a class that you can not see (but you can calculate them if you gather enough data)
The classes have base HP stats, dark elf base HP was always higher than humans because they used to have less CON, which is a modifying stat, not a defining stat.

1. It has been noted that there is a discrepancy at level 1 between human and DE. DE has more when it should not.

2. This was no skills, no buffs, no gear.

3. The discrepancy grows as the characters level up.

4. If there was a base pool that is larger for DEs, then they would only be more than humans by that base amount (ie. if DE starts with 50 more in base, then that will be overcome later on easily by humans, but it's not, the discrepancy only grows larger).

Do you see the logic here that works against your statement and assumptions?

You should have noticed that plechan thinks that the reason the OP says there's more HP to delves is becoz the Delf char used is a high HP+Buffed class compared to a weaker human character, not because there's some base stat that is destroying human's role. Why respect this?

Having some base state making it normal or not, this is not normal for any of us, humans have the worst racial stats at 85 for almost all classes and delves are now beter than humans at survivility(HP/CP), at physical atk power, atk speed and magical power which are the most dominant status post-awakening. and no elemental boost for them either.
Dark elves before GoD had a higher base HP than humans. But with big CON difference between for example both race daggers, the human's HP got increased higher due to a higher modifier. But now with the new stats I'm guessing the difference between CON got this small that both HP pools get multiplied by almost the same value leaving the dark elf on the advantage.

Perhaps it's better explained here:

(keep in mind the CON thing I did for GoD is nowhere correct but shows what's possibly wrong here)

I play lineage2 for 7 years (official, pve, pvp servers). I have never seen paladin 44 lvl having less life than a bladedancer 44 lvl with the same buffs and with no weapon bonuses and with a difference of 700 hp (when the difference at lvl 3-4 was only 80 hp). All classes of human warriors always had much more life than all delf classes, so dont tell me about differences in base stats. We're talking about significant differences.
BUMP

This needs to be fixed ASAP!!!
Get used to it panzy humans!

Elves been here long before you, and will be here after you all gone!

ps regarding what makes sense whats not. humans having by far more stat points than every other race never made any sense, so suck it it.

that is what i am calling troll u racist!!!First of all elves have better awakening racial skills.also every race has its own classes.shilien knight has so many spells thats why human tanks need more life.BE OBJECTIVE!!!
Alright, I've seen many of these threads being made and its pretty clear it isn't a "bug" but just a side effect of the stat change system as many people have already stated.

For those of you that don't believe there is some hidden base hp stat lets use some deductive reasoning for a second.
First, does your CON change every time you level up? Easy answer, no.
Second, does your HP change when you level up? Again pretty easy, yes.
Given both those answers we can deduce that there is some OTHER value affecting a characters HP and not solely based off CON. This is how the mysterious base HP has been come to be spoken of and the fact that CON is indeed only a modifier of your actual HP value.
Wait. Your HP continues to change every level, and differently depending on class. So through rational logic we can assume there is not only a hidden base HP, but also a value that adjusts your HP on every level depending on your class.

That being said when L2 was released these base values and level increments were set for every class with the original CON modifiers in mind. So with original modifiers it was designed that HP would be relative and came to be what we expected. With GoD the stats were changed and thus a new modifier is being applied; however I doubt NWEast spent the time to rework all 32 classes base stats since it was all focused around the 8 awakened classes.

As a result we have races with higher base HP, higher level increment HP, but lower CON (D.Elf) actually resulting in higher HP. Chances are this will work itself out once you're awakened but I haven't seen any data to support that. A valid test would be get two level 85 Sigel Knights, one Human and one D.Elf, and see which has higher HP in same gear/buffs/etc. My money is on the Human being higher since both characters would have the same class HP and the CON modifier would now be doing its job correctly.

If you feel my logic if flawed feel free to prove it so, all information I've stated was gathered through deductive reasoning and sound logic using information that is readily available to everyone. Do I think it is right for D.Elf to have more HP, no, but the simple fact is they probably just didn't care about 85- since the update was all for 85+. Also I wouldn't expect any changes to this in the near future, if ever, since NCEast would need to do these changes, and even if they did we wouldn't see them for months at the earliest.
Hello,I had news from NCSoft Support Department via mail.Ok they send me a site with base hp/cp and other stats of each class.Indeed the Dark Elves have more base life at most classes than humans. So it depends much to the class you have. It's correct to me now ,because paladin for example has stun at all lvls something that shillien knight hasn't.So i consider that as sigel knight(where the base hp will be same for human or elf) human will have more hp and cp because of the higher Con modifier. Now i am 84 lvl(85 in 2 days from now) and i'm waiting for any sigel knight who want to test these things to give his name so we can chat and test out characters. Thanks for any answer here guys!!!

ps:I knew that gladiator for example had more cp than dark avenger cause of class but didnt expect so much difference in hp stat between knight classes(elves - humans). We learn new things our whole life :D
