Everyone's so angry here.

So I love you and I think you're beautiful.
Now cheer up cupcake.

This is exactly why I haven't even bothered to log in recently. As much as I want to play Lineage II, I'll get annoyed with the full server and lag and pitch a tantrum to myself. So I'm just...hiding behind this bush.
Waiting.
Watching.

I hope you guys get to playing soon with minimal issues though. Give it time, it'll slow down.
That's the L2 general discussion forum for you.

It's always been like this.

It can be civilized, but it's an ANGRY board.
Angry boards are funnier.

Word.
Screw you. My anger sustains me.

Grrr.
i noticed that too, seems like l2 forums make everyone transform into the Hulk ^^
But what came first? NCSoft or angry forum users?

It was a mutual thing.

You think not being able to log in now is bad? You should had been there in beta, when all the advancing you did would be carried over to Prelude.

Imagine the same cluttering of people just in 5 different places at the same time; at least Dion and onwards was deserted so once you made it past 30 it was you and your soul; but near the 3rd week of beta Execution grounds was FULL with people from all the 5 starter villages, and Giran started to become the place to be.

Oren was the next haven from lag.

Oh and back then, we got client crashes every 30 or so minutes, you grabbed aggro from the moment you logged in, not from when your char showed up on the map, so most times if you weren't careful, you logged in to find your toon dead and dropped a couple of items from your bag.

did I mention back then you dropped even equipped items even if you were white and had no PKs? No? TONS OF FUN!

It was in this particular environment that the forums were forged and tempered. People from all over the world finding out for the first time what KOREAN MODE ON meant. L2 used to be a really unfair game, hardcore to the max in the bad way; cut throat scamming, pushing, shoving; but soon those same minded individuals started forming clans both in-game and in the forums and it was not strange to see same clan guys who were best friends in game to start flame wars between them in here.

Very few people openly admitted just who they were in-game as it was dangerous for several reasons, this game always has had a heavy dose of drama everywhere; it's like its fuel and that's what makes it a lot of fun.

Over time, you will find out just how emotionally intensive this game is; one of the chief reasons those addicted to it can't ever leave it for good.

You just get too tired of it at times; a couple years ago it was exhausting to play. "not worth it" even tough I hate the phrase, but for me I left when I realized that I would never compete in any level since I had a long absence in between 4th chronicle and the Kamael and I was never a hardcore player (started to have less and less time; this thing used to demand a very minimum of three hours a day of heavy grinding to get anything done) to begin with.

So unless you lived it you won't be able to understand why this aggressiveness is not to be taken on a personal level; it' sjust the way the game shapes you after playing for some time.

That and some of it is real world rage over the various level of mismanagement NCW has had with the game.

I mean, hey, I stopped playing, but I never stopped finding out what the changes were; I came back several times, trying to keep advancing; until high five it had been a futile attempt.
