No it don't. It is retail, not **** private server, can't you get that people? Every thread made by those privaters is about custom things, that don't even exist on retail.
Want go offline? Use auction house.
That's crap. Offline shop can be easely implemented on a server. It also reduces the datastreams because of the fact that the pc from the user can be shut down. Look into the future and not in the past.

Offline shop is pure win for everybody.
NcSoft wins money for selling offline shop tickets+offline shop does not consume server resorces nor does it take a player server slots..
Gamer wins by not having his PC 24 h online=>lower electricity bill and pc "life" a bit longer.
But it seems NcSoft knows only to copy from wow. It`s a shame, private servers had some very good things in them, like offline shop, and ANTIBOT systems.
Also on any self respecting server, acces routes in towns are shop free areas(you can`t put shops there). You can`t put shop in Aden for example on the stairs and near the Gk, and on the road leading from the stairs to the hero monument. And in the wh zones.

Two easy fixes, I admit a lot of ppl cry for private server stuff, but the private servers don't have it all wrong, in a lot of ways they had some better set ups then official servers, I have played in my years of L2 a few private servers and I can tell you, I had only ran into a few bot trains in my time, until retail I really had no clue it could be so bad.
Also to implement offline shops and to implement safe selling areas and or borders around all npc's where it is impossible to set up shops is a very easy fix.
Really, it is a win/win for everyone involved.

Caps isn't going to make ppl decide to use it if they don't want to.
Plus it takes a % of the cut, I don't want to share my money when I have a soloution/way to get it all. Auction house is not an offline shop, it is an auction house. Also you can't sell set stuff and shots etc. These ppl have a good idea and the auction house isn't what we are looking for.
As much as the offline shop feature from private servers is convenient and all, I just don't see NCsoft implementing this type of service free or L2Store wise. Also got to take in consideration that they need permission from NC Korea before editing any content and the NA version runs directly from their version. If NCK doesn't want it, NCsoft won't do it.
So for now you still have those two choices of auction house and take the cut or use the private store and run your computer online and get 100% of your cash. Using the auction house is only a bad choice if a large portion of a server population isn't using it at all. So long as a decent percentage is using it and buying/selling, the fee is minimal and not a huge concern.
