I don't know if it's just where I live or what, but the lag seems to have gotten worse then it was before hand which is confusing, it's starting to actually take a couple seconds for NPCs to respond to me clicking on them to "talk" and the same with mobs, the game is lag freezing more often for very quick periods, movement is taking longer to respond and etc
I know that the servers are packed, I'm just wondering if NCSoft are going to be doing anything about giving their servers an upgrade so we can play the game somewhat better, as it's really stressful atm, I'm living in the UK if that makes any difference to anyone else having/not having lag.
GoD doesnt make it light for some1 who enjoy it to play. first you got around 20min hammering your PW in to get on the server. second you try to fiend a not overrun lvl spot. third you got frustrated about the lags. got now 12 !!!!! seks until my servitor respond to attack a mob, and no its not my PC or the place i play, i was there for the complete evening without any troubles.
GoD is realy a wonderfull game which makes a lot of fun, but what happen here isnt realy customer friendly. servers overloaded and now lags makes the rest. lags are always mmo fun killer number 1. i hope that NC will do something, more servers or (only a dream) make it again P2P, i would pay 5bucks more in a month only to play again as it was.
I could play just fine. Sure Talking Island and Aden were laggy but just now I logged from ToI. I never lagged there and now I received chat with 5 sec delay. It became unplayable very soon.
It is getting worse. Probably will see server crash today. I play on Naia.
As OP said it's only the NPC's when you talk to them. It started like 3 or 4 hours ago. The rest is all like it was before. Try a Naia restart or whatever, just please fix that **** since it's really annoying.

You must of mis-read what I said, I didn't say its "only" NPCs, I was using that as an example, it's taking several seconds for it to respond that I'm trying to open dialog with them, same in PvE, takes a second or two to click on a mob and then attack, while I'm holding down my spell button, sometimes it will show me just stood there, then I see 2 attacks come out at once, or non at all and it's also applying to when I try to move somewhere, I get massive delays at times, I really hope they find a way to fix this.
are not if open more server will work none want start again, i have seem Russian private server with 8k population and more that 1 server so the answer is better machines i guess.

have you ever trusted those numbers? even middle schooler can write a script to add additional thousand or 2 to random int. on the other hand if i see server is full, please try later on the screen i know that server is indeed full
P.S. russian official L2 is also ~6k cap. you really think that private servers have best machines in the world?

That's because you don't use Battleping. Pve it's okay. That's something new that's happening but clearly you weren't in game today. I don't know if it's because server being more light now or anything else but that issue is no longer present.
im encountering lag issues sometimes at giran or in a crowded places. i have only 3 gig cpu, 1 gig videocard and 4 gigs ram memory. im using fastcache v.1.3 i downloaded at this website
