Not random people. But I have PK'ed people who were trying to KS my mobs, I have PK'ed bots, I have PK'ed members from farmer clans, have PK'ed members from clans that we were at war with, who never declared back, and have PK'ed people who have a way of getting under your skin.
I haven't PKed anyone and don't want to because it would just delay leveling by alot and make me a huge target the whole time I have a red name. I don't even PVP that much except for when I was 10-20 because everyone that is purple now just trolls and are probably +10 levels of the area that they are running around in. Hopefully things change when/if I hit max level.

Dumb People, Ksers, AFK people, bots, lowbies, high level toons, annoying noobs, ppl using my spot, clan's that stop war, nearby siege, shops at hunting grounds, trains that steal mobs, people that debuff u (when we didnt had alt+click), beggars, arrogant noobs, summons, sin eaters, pets, people I dislike, Ugly people, old dwarfs, g ay elfs, and mainly chickens (AKA Kamael).
But I always used it wise, I'm not a noob pker, everyone I pked knew why he was being pked, eventhough sometimes I didnt know why I was pking... heh kidding.
Anyway, it's part of the game and it's relaxing. Don't wanna be pked? Stay aware and fight back or bsoe.

Anyone who has never PKed (and has played the game for a reasonable length of time) shouldn't be playing L2.
+1 There are so many Pve games like Hello Kitty Adventures Online or Farmville or sh*** like that where you can live in your soap bubble under rainbow and shoot bunnies with beams of sunshine if you don't like pvp/pk why come to lineage 2??
I came for late game PVP. For people who say don't play a game with a PK feature if you don't PK, that's dumb. That's like saying don't play games with raids if you don't raid. PK is just one feature. At least at max level the game will be more balanced because you can't be level 99 with a level 130 hanging out PKing.
I've never PKed my whole time in L2, and have enjoyed playing my whole time here. So why shouldn't I be playing?
Btw I have PvPed plenty, but haven't ever PKed; there is a difference in case you weren't sure.

I do find it hard to believe you've never PKed. Have you at least been in a party with someone who did the PKing for you? Back in the old days when you were competing for PvE spots, what did you do if they didn't flag back? Or if they were griefing you by picking up your drops?
yes and i loved the fact i could flat out kill someone before for whatever reason and not have to delete my character and start over cause it would take longer to work of my karma as it would take me to level :/

My first pk was to kill my friend just hit him to provide ...
My second was to defend a guy who was killing all the mobs to kill for me to beat him
end up paying dearly for having killed him ... Maybe now if you are bothering you can not kill, because it's hard lv40 720rep down, especially when everyone wants to take off the 360 reputation by greenname : Confused:: Confused:: Confused:
Now. you can not afford to kill anyone who annoys you ... you have to try your mobs. or simply abandon the quest or try it later ... because nobody wants to party when most are magicians who are robbing all the mobs

I've always picked up my own drops, and usually grinded in out of way places so never had to fight for my areas. I also have a bad case of Altitis so I have a ton of characters, but none have made it past 60 yet. That might also have helped since never had to be squeezed into the over-populated high end zones.
It's too hard to burn karma until i think 80-85 level i heard? Well in dedication to the new karma system that's annoyed me lately, at 80-85 lvl watch your back cause i'll probably dedicate a full week to pk'ing anyone in ToI, which is half the server i estimate. <3
