We've seen multiple threads about confusion over the Daily Quests and which/how many are available each day. This explanation will hopefully help.
Basically, the daily quests in Lineage II are sorted into categories according to level range. Each level range is limited to a certain number of daily quests per day. Also, the selection of which quests are available varies day to day, no matter which town you go to.
Berserker Outlaws and Not to be Forgotten are actually one-time quests, not daily quests. The website will be corrected to show this info.
Characters level 60 to 64 can do 1 of these 3 quests, randomly selected by the server, per day:
The Oppressor and the Oppressed
Divinity Protector
Waiting for Summer
2 of these 3 quests, randomly selected by the server, are available per day:
Awakened
Hot Spring Water
Be Well
2 of these 3 quests, randomly selected by the server, are available per day:
Mysterious Letter
For the Sacrificed
Plain Mission
2 of these 3 quests, randomly selected by the server, are available per day:
Well-known Secret
Wonders of Caring
In this Quiet Place
Every day I have to do Well-known Secret quest, I feel really bad for all the people there trying to get their quest items who been there for so long and still going to be there after I'm done with the quest.
Berserker Outlaws and Not to be Forgotten are actually one-time quests, not daily quests. The website will be corrected to show this info.
Not only website needs to be corrected in game also the one-time quests are listed as daily in the Goddess of Destruction Guide Level 40-85 Book.
The quest in GoD Book How to Stand Up For Yourself is also listed as daily quest while is one-time only quest, it also says that you can start it from Adventurer Helper when you actually start it in Gludio from the races Grand Masters.
The old quests that got removed cuz of GoD are still listed in the World Map Info and at the Adventure Guildsman so it kinda sucks to find the still working quests that didnt get removed.
Sace, even in the NCKorea Powerbook Wikipedia the quests you listed in the blocks above are called "daily quests" (일일 퀘스트). This has historical reasons I have explained here: http://boards.lineage2.com/showpost.php?p=3130955&postcount=14
But since in the present version of the game the server selects a limited number of quests out of the "quest menu", those quests are in fact not daily as in "players can do them every day". If luck is with you, you may be able to do them daily, but it can also happen to you that a certain quest is not available for a whole week. Therefore you should maybe exchange the word "daily" in the quest list for "repeatable". This might lead to less misunderstandings.
could you tell me something? maybe 24 hours have to elapse since the 1st daily is taken before u can access to the 2nd one ? yesterday did the VoS quest and now i don't have any of the following 2 avaiable( The Oppressor and the Oppressed; Waiting for Summer)
is there a specified time we must wait to access a next daily or it's just my problem?
it can be that somedays you do not receive daily quests at all?
If everything works according to plan, the server will select the quests of the day at 06:30 real time. This is valid for all players and has nothing to do with when you have picked up or finished your own quest.
You must always keep in mind that those quests are not cycling through - first "Oppressor and Oppressed", then "Divinity Protector", then "Waiting for Summer" - but selected at random. That means you have a good chance to get "Divinity Protector" 5 times in a row. The 60~64 block works according to a "1 out of 3" rule, so it can well be that the other two quests will not be available for a week or two. Krissa is the resident expert on binomial distribution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binomial_distribution) aka Korean random. Maybe she can explain it better :)
when you reach 65, you can do 2 quest (Mysterious Letter and Plain Mission) but then you can only do 1 of them, allways Plain Mission, i mean only 1 quest per day, i guess mysterious letter is not repeatable, im right?
That being said, you have, after you have done "Mysterious Letter", two quests available: "For the Sacrificed" and "Plain Mission", out of which the server selects one per day. If you only get offered "Plain Mission" for a couple of days, that's absolutely to be expected. If after a month or so "For the Sacrificed" still does not show up on the Adventurer Guide's menu, this would indicate a bug.

Thx for the update Sace, I did happen to notice one thing though. The last 3, Ever since hitting lvl 76 the only two I'v ever seen are In this Quiet Place and Wonders of Caring. I have a couple of buddies that out leveled me and are saying that they no longer get Wonders of Caring but Well-known Secret in its place?
So I guess my question is, is the random selection something being implemented with the downtime today or is it functioning as it should be?
Here is a suggestion, of which I am sure No one will Listen too.. I mean after all teh PROGRAMERS sure know the game better than those of us you play it for countless hours a day..
1. Quest Indentifiers, You guys have the ability to show in selection screens when a Quest line is in PRogress. Simply Changing the quest Link to include the word DAILY in the string would let people know it was a daily. Actually take it a step further and put a DALIY Quest Quide in all the town that ONLY offer Daily Quests. This will make it more user/player friendly and it will ALSO cut down on server lag instead of loading so many un-needed NPC's
2. Also place in the discription that Daily's are reset every day at 6:30 am server time and place your server time in the display.
3. Quest mobs - If your quest requires for a person to kill a certain amount of a mob, or multiple mobs, then the designated mobs need to either have a faster respawn time than other server mobs, OR! Set the mob in a designated area to replinsh as soon as one is killed. I.E. If you set one area to house 50 mobs and as soon as one is Killed anohter auto spawns to replace it. So there is ALWAYS 50 mobs for multiple players to attack.. I feel sorry for Mele characters or people a little slow on targeting. A Nuker can run into an area And clean out the mobs before a Mele class has a chance to kill 1 mob. And people Kissing mobs is a problem too. nukers can Kiss mobs.. If the above spawn rate idea does not work then seperate mobs between nukers and Mele characters. Give the two classes A different Mob so Nukers are not running in and taking all the quest mob.. This is from a Nuker.. Meaning My toon is a Nuker. I can do a quest in about 20 minutes. as were my clan mate sometiems takes him 2-3 hours to do cause of server traffic.
There is a thingy i would like to suggest. On lower levels looks like quest item drop rate is oki. But after level 70 it is becoming awful. I made a test today. I logged my char and my bfs' one. Was in party and made daily quest at WOA Angels. In order we both to finish it in party it took 3 hours, no matter that we are nuker/se party (no mentor on, though but it would not help so much. Imagine you're on new server and you have no mentor yet). Why? Because there are too few mobs on high trafic server. How it can be fixed? If it is possible, the drop rate of quest items no mater in party or not to be 100% for everyone. It will take less time, the quest zones will be less populated, cuz people would finish the quests fast enough and actually there will be parties for this. Now if you ask someone - party? He'll say nope, it will take too much time to finish the quest.

Wonders of Caring is the one that I have only founde once, been doing the other two tho.
Your Daily quests seem to be bugged as in the adventure helper does not show any available at this time, is there an issue or do you stop getting dailies at 81?
Sace, maybe you should add the level range to all the quest blocks in your post above :)
This doesn't make sense
1. I got both quests yesterday when I was 80
2. I see people above 80 doing these quests all the time
3. My lvl 76 also cannot obtain the daily quests
3. Quest mobs - If your quest requires for a person to kill a certain amount of a mob, or multiple mobs, then the designated mobs need to either have a faster respawn time than other server mobs, OR! All good points, but I'm going to hone in on #3.
We tried doing the WoA daily quest (angels) yesterday on an archer (hubby) and a hiero (me). I used a bow to try and assist him. The area was packed with players doing the same quest. We hadn't had much of a chance to do the DQ since GoD, but rumor had it that last hit gets the kill. So... not only are we trying to contend with slow spawn rates, not enough mobs, but to make matters worse, there was some idiot out there ks'ing everyone to get last hit on their mobs. He was literally ks'ing everyone in the area. Yeah, I know it's all about "Play Your Way" and the dude is only doing what makes him happy in this game... but ****.
There was some poor ******* out there (dagger class) who could barely get to the mob in time before someone else would take it, and when he finally did get to the mob, someone would get last hit on him. He didn't speak english very well (actually I don't think he speaks it at all) so I was comparing quest items with him, i.e. 13/30. When the ks'ing idiots left, we left him to half the field and took up the other half thinking we were finally going to get the quest done. But he called in more of his non-english speaking friends to help him out, and these goobers started ks'ing all of our mobs? Like WTH?
Is this the new style of gameplay now? Finish quests quicker by piggybacking on other players' efforts? C'mon now. And of course, no one wants to flag (well 'cept apparently us) or go red like in the good ole days when someone pushed our buttons. There are people out there who thrive on antagonizing others, which in a pvp game is to be expected... but it's just gone overboard. The ks'ing was bad enough, but the smacktalk from this dude resorted to him describing in great detail how he would ****** penetrate the other guys around him. I mean... really? Apparently after 7 years of this game I've become a little delicate.
I'm sitting here looking at the daily quest thinking.. is this really how I want to spend my day?

That's about how this game is now. People generally won't flag unless they think for sure that they have the upper hand to win. They also usually don't flag if they don't have a clan because they can't stand up for themselves without a 3 to 1 ratio.
I think what NC is doing is trying to push people to find a clan and start wars.
Griefing is something that has always been a part of this game and always will be.
If you go red, and you're with a partner, have them go red as well and then you kill each other and rez each other, that first kill should wash half of your negative rep off if the game functions as it says it does.
May I ask why " Berserker Outlaws " and " Not to be forgotten " are not daily ? Seems like a pretty big level gap where I don't any other option than to grind, for no apparent reason.

Calling them repeatable would be a lot more confusing. " Daily quest " is correct, it doesn't matter that one gets randomly selected from the pool. World of warcraft, for example, has this system implemented in most of their daily areas, and they don't call them something else.

Do you guys mind to change the "Guide Books" aswell then ??
I have been trolling around towns trying to get the "Daily" How to Stand Up For Yourself quest, cause acording to the turorial book its a Daily quest. Im about to jump into the 50 range, and im allready looking at the book saying that Berserker Outlaws and Not to be Forgotten are dailys aswell.
Not so good to guide the new players id say ;)
PS: They would be better of being dailys atm tbh, since you cant really get a grinding spot with the current populations. And iff you do find one, you will be overrun in a matter of mins (depending on the class you play offcourse, mellee seems to be down a lot since mages and archers tend to KS for there grinding spots).

Being a cardinal prevent me from solo: worse when my friends are on they get the quest wonders of caring while 1 time out of 3 its not available for me and my friends get it everyday....getting behind in XP
'The Berserk Outlaws' and 'Not to be Forgotten' are not daily quests, but one-time quest.
I know, I know, the info on the quests list have grouped them with the daily quests.. *Smack web site.
Pommo, so you are still around Zimm says hello (yes, I am 'that' Zimm from the Federation days). Recently returned to L2 after a long hiatus and glad to see you're still working for NCSoft. Hope your family is doing well. :) If you're ever around Bartz look for Kyleran (there's a name you may recall as well)
i can only do 1 of the 3 quests that i mark with faces per day ... and always the "for the sacrified" quest...
One of the quests in this level range is a one-time quest (Mysterious Letter). I guess the server still randomly picks this quest for you but you can't do it anymore.
But doesn't this quest start a chain of quests? Haven't done it yet but is it worth it?
Not really a bug I think, change to sub that fits the level req. switch back to main, go kill mobs on main, change back to sub to claim the reward. You get the needed items way quick when doing it with an awakened character ... but it screws up other people kills.

I supose its that way so there is more pvp, but with this new pk system people let themself be pked so they ruin your day and they win.
What we need is the old pk system, so all the carebears stop ksing and who not eat earth.
hahaha.....make a nuker then.....with ISS bufs ....i do dailies in 10 mins or less.....and yes i rule the area...thats why i offer to help ppl once i am thru. i spend alot of my time helping others get em done ( clannies or not) IE....melee/summoners. and umm BTW....if ya have a melee/summoner class....box it with ure nuker after the nuker has his quest done....goes by alot faster...trust me i know i do these quest evryday on about 10 toons ( works great for me)
oh ...i forgot to add that the pk/pvp that goes on during these quest is hilarious...and...if you do go red on someone...who cares....ya must keep in mind that if ppl are willing to go red...they dont care about having to wash off the red...hence the reason they went red in the 1st place...in their mind its not a waste of time
this quest isnt daily its a one time quest and the server gives me just one quest each day coz it picks that one constantly ... please fix this
Ah, I think I understand.
I'm a 66 OL and should be getting 2 dailies, but I only get one (For the Sacrificed). So I guess my 2 dailies are actually for the same quest, which I can only pick up once.
