Forum Rules

Hi there, a few hours ago something weird happened.

I was logged off the forums and wasn't able to log back in, a message saying "wrong login or password" was all I got on the login screen.

At first I tought....... "hey, maybe the maintenance also applies to the forums, so that's why I can't log back in" but then I saw other people posting like nothing happened, while I was still unable to log, so my second thought was "OMG was I banned or something?"

This got me thinking, is there any forum rule against using a customized color for your posts? because lately most of my posts have been made in Magenta color and using this font

I simply liked that color and font more than the default ones, but if that's against forum rules and that's why I wasn't able to log, I wont do it again.

So I'm asking, is it against the rules to post on customized colors and fonts? or me not being able to log was due to the maintenance (in which case the question would be why others were able to log on the forums but I wasn't)

There is no rule against posting in other colors or fonts. However please do not purposely use excessively large fonts or painful-to-look at colors. Read the full forum rules here (http://boards.lineage2.com/announcement.php?f=137) so that you are well-informed.

Regarding the login issue, it is likely that the forum login auth was overloaded as many players were on the forums while the game servers were in maintenance.

Good to know I can use a customized font and color.

Don't worry, I dont like to use oversized fonts (They tend to look absurd unless its for a title or something) and as for a color that is painful to look at, I could use a darker shade of purple.
