So, ncsoft decided to add a 100% exp/sp rune boost for the same price than the 50% that everybody bougth before

Is this some kind of joke or what?

After alot of people already spend money on 2x 7 days runes (shilen server) this one apears for the same price and with 2times more bonus.

just incredible, I feel like the whole intention of this was to get the more money possible from us

the 100% rune only works below 86, so don't sweat it.

Im talking about the shilen server where thers less than 10 ppl over lvl 86 and allmost everyone bougth the 50% one when server started and the 2nd week. Why they just didnt put the 100% since the start?

Yep, will be very good to catch up with everyone over holiday season.

Like getting 30% at lvl 84 in 1h isn't fast enough already rofl. And that's solo.

Ppl will be 85 in no time with 1M adena in their pocket ;P

And when they do hit 85 rly fast they will make threads about how they don't have adena to buy proper gear at higher lvls. So NC ofc will make them buy pixels with rl adena.

Really wish I saw that fast leveling speed, but no where close, granted yet to find a mentor but.... LOL. How do you actually obtain that speed? I barely get 15% per hour at 77.

New places solo area like swamp, awesome exp cra ppy adena drop. But mats drop is oki though.

It is completely feasible to solo from 80 to 85 in a couple of hours (8-10) at the swamplands. Factor in the runes and you should level up around 37.5% faster (assuming they only apply on base xp).

Even with enchanter buffs it will take longer...

Exp in swamp is really good. Got 5% in 6 minutes at 83, Mobs hit hard even with mentee buffs. Songs/Dances/Enchanter to make it comfortable.

As always with every expansion of L2:

OLD AREAS GET NERFED
NEW AREAS ARE OVERPOWERED.

So level 83 solo zone gives you 150k with vit.
But level 85 solo place gives 1mil+ with vit.

Way to balance.

It is a YOUR choice to have a XP boost which will let you exp faster but taking less adena per level. YOUR choice, so stop complaining.

Did anyone else buy the Nevits Rune only to find out that it did absolutely nothing for you? I was grinding for 180,000 exp per mob before I purchased to rune and after I got it guess what, still getting 180,000 exp. If this rune does not stack with Mentor buff it should be explained on its info.

Anyway the formula works not as you may think:

Basic XP + 50% of XP rune + 100% of Nevit rune + 100% of Vitality = 3,5 times basic exp :)

If you don't believe me just check system chat and see the bonus value. The difference between XP value and bonus value is the basic XP.

Example from TOI 12: You have acquired 81147 (Bonus: 57962).
So basic XP is 23185.
23185 (basic XP) + 23185 (Nevit rune) + 11592 (XP rune) + 23185 (Vitality) = 81147
23185 x 3,5 = 81147 :)

I'll test this theory out tonight when I get home, But even with your math once I activated the Rune my EXP should not have been the exact same as it was prior to activating it. This time i'll take screenshots of the before and after.

The formula is 100% correct. I checked all values while grinding at TOI 12 and it works.
Maybe you discovered a bug or you did something wrong.
Did you open the box with te rune inside?? XD I know, it's a stupid question but maybe you forgot :rolleyes:

I dont have exact numbers,
But i have tested and the Rune of xp 100 % and the 50 % do stack,

I killed a mob with the 200 % vitality Only
Then with the 100 %
Then 100% + 50

Each time the xp was more, so it does work.

Little correction: Vitality gives 200% OF basic XP, not 200% more. So it is +100%. I just wanted to make it clear ^^

My only aim is to get to 86 as fast as possible to play with friends. I've been playing for a bit over a week and 81, so yes leveling is slow!!!! :D

Did you have over 80 rec's on your character? Nevit's runes work differently from EXP runes.

And to the OP who said they're the same price, they're not. The Rune of XP 5 hour is the price of the Nevits Rune 3 hour. You get more time on the Rune.
