Are they actually needed anymore or can you learn any skill in the skill tab?

Anyone? As far as I can see they're useless now, right?

Can you turn them in anywhere for something?

Spellbooks and amullets are obsolete.... If you have them from previous chronicles i guess you can sell them in the grocery or something...

If you talk to the spellbook sellers... they tell you... "i am out of work... i will have to look for a librarian job on ivory tower" lol...

You can sell some of them, I'm missing a few skills due to the update they are not available to me but through books still, I think new players won't need them tho

some combo buff skill books are still needed

other than that no, other than for RP or nostalgia reasons.

Keep forgotten scrolls though, those that you learn by doubleclicking them.

I went to the Mystic Guild to get my set of lvl 68 skill books and the option is not available !!!!!!

How the hell you managed to get 68 without knowing you dont need books to learn skills?

Can't stay on L2forum without getting surprised once in a while.

Considering that his join date is before L2 GOD was released, he might have had the character previously and didn't know it now changed.

You are right :) buddy.

Anyway, I did find the skill tap and pick up the new learing skills from there. This after reading the first thread where it was mention about skill tab, after I wrote me thread.
