I feel cheated

At the risk of sounding like I'm whining (ok maybe I am, a little) It is disappointing that new players have an advantage over existing players, as they get all sorts of weapon and armor upgrades, that aren't available to existing players from before the GOD. As an example, my 3 60+ level toons using a C and B weapons are no match for the players who have recently started the game and worked up to this level quickly, with superior weapons and armor. They are leaving me in the dust. It perhaps doesn't matter to S level players, but it is disappointing at my level.
As well, what is the point of giving A level players B mysterious souldshots? Or B level players A weapons? I guess I should have read more carefully and stayed away from the game for a few weeks to keep from getting to level 60. Ok, I feel better now( but just a little).
Cant everyone use the "path"?
Use the path , I have Level 6X char on Naia and I can use it.
Everyone can use the path, but since my PCs were at level 60, I was not eligible to collect any of the lower rewards, which include A weapons and armor, alllowing faster leveling. 2 PCs are still using common C weapons, and one a common B. Consequently when you pick a target, a player with better gear will come and steal it while you struggle to defeat it. This, of course, is a factor of the much higher number of players and the competition for available monsters. Also, a lack of consideration by so (too) many players.

The solution to your problem is to level up new toons to around that level, or level toons that are close to that level (say if you have any there are alredy 4x or higher) and get to the point where you can claim those rewards.

What you do is claim the rewards on the char you just leveled on the website, then pick them up at the dimensional merchant with the chars you want to play.

As long as you don't open the pack you should still be able to transfer it to another toon through the dimensional merchant as well.

Also to give you an idea of how long it takes to level, I started an Orc Fighter on Sunday. As of last night (last time I played it) it's sitting at level 62. I only usually play a max of about 4 hours per day, and it only took me 3 to get to 50 from the creation screen.

1-20 TI quests
20-40 Gludio Quests (make sure you do the 26 Kamaloka or you could be underleveled and unable to do some quests without a short grind)
40-47 Cruma Tower 1st floor
47-50 Cruma Tower 2nd floor (make sure you stay there until 50 or even 51 if you want)
At 50 do the Pailaka (starts at elf beside gludin temple)
If you waited until you get about 40% into 50 at CT2 you will level from the pailaka.
After the Pailaka do the Outlaw quest which starts at an Adventure Helper and can be ported to from Oren.
This could net you about 2 levels.
Do not do the next Kamaloka until you hit at least B grade because you aren't doing the 53 one. You will do the 56 one, this will get you the quest to goto TOI. Do that TOI quest and when all the dust clears you should be level 55 or 56, all in a timespan of about 5 hours max.

Grats you can collect your A grade weapon. (which will be +4 with NC's idea of Best SA and in most cases Top A)

Also doing all that if you don't spend any Adena you should have enough to buy an armor set from the Lux shop if you don't want to level the toon to 60. You have to buy the Unidentified sets, and that will run you about 2mill for the armor and another 1-1.5 for the jewelery.

if you have more then 8mill just goto the lux shop and buy your A grade gear. You get Mid A weapons and Top A Armors/jewelery. Also works for Lowest S gear as well.
Stone of destiny. Sometimes, practical advantages aren't as good as long term mechanic advantages.
The only advantage new characters get is the temporary gear handed to them for free. The slightly weaker gear sold by the NPCs will get you by fine. Dynasty weapons are really cheap, 40-45m now, so there's that too. Have fun playing.

Your stone of destiny outweighs that too, especially if you already have your Sgrade+ gear.
I did manage to outfit a couple of the players with armor from the auction house, for a reasonable price. Prior to that I wasn't able to find decent stuff that I had enough adena for. Weapons are still an issue, as they are priced high and getting enough Adena even with looting drops people are leaving, amassing a pile of it hasn't been easy. Better gear allows you to spend more time playing and less resting while MP rebuilds. I did consider starting another character, but you really shouldn't have to do that. As the Ally comercial says" You shouldn't treat your new friends better than your old ones" which is what it seems like is happening. I guess I will have to pay more attention to the game. I found a cache of gift boxes(4 or 5) in my warehouse that each have 20,000 mysterious soulshots and spirit shot of each grade up to S, and I am not sure where they came from. I bought a lot of shots I didn't neeed to. Thanks for the replies and suggestions.
You can start a new characters and be A grade in a few hours. Just think about this, during the time wasted from your first post to you last reply you would have quested a "new" character already past fifth reward set and well on your way to being 85.

I would spend the next 24 hours working on a brand new character so you can have an advantage over existing players that don't take the time to read about what is available to help them on their path to awakening.

Yeah, but he'd have to wait 7 days to get that name though. >_<
If you like me, had a character stuck transitioning in between old gears; then your best bet is to make a throwaway character anyways.

Path of awakening prizes can be claimed by ANY character tied to the account.

Fast level a char to tie with your main, you will get all the rewards wich means your old char can be decked in very decent gear for 30 days.

So no, new players have no advantages over you at all; if anything, you know more about the game already and have a better (should have anyways) sense of what to do to maximize your "grinding".
Took me two weeks to get s-grade. I work.

Then you can claim that s-grade with your main and you'll have it for 90 days to get 86 and assuming you transferred mentee certificate to your main you will get r-grade equipment.

EDIT: ooohhh you just 60? o.O Though you was 80-85. You can get b-grade in a day.
sure i can get a new char to get mentee cert but i have all the slots used up on all accounts with 50+ chars and it takes a week to remove them...
Now why would you have that? O.O
