I recently had a bunch of duels with a fellow archer of mine of my own lvl (57). I am a soul breaker. Before GoD, I would have easily defeated him, but now, with steal divinity not landing even once, I got always defeated, because his stun always had an effect on me. Is there something i can do in order to increase my resistance to stun attacks??...
get resist stun
wear majestic
wear TW/boss jewels
or close the range and stun him yourself.
why u waste time pvping at 57 anyway?
Stun him? How could I stun him? I am a soul breaker... As for the other thing that you said... Well, I am from the ones that don' t play a lot. About 10 hours per week I would say, so it is unlikely that I will ever get to the awakening, plus I like much more pvp at low levels. Anyway, thank you very much for the advice you gave me. It' ll prove very useful to me.
OP: Ok just so you know, at that level you'll be stunned non stop no matter really what you are. Pvping that low of level isn't really all that balanced. Wait till you get a higher level and you get all your skills and debuffs and the like and if you know your class you'll be able to kick their butt.
nothing is gonna happen about it, the game at 84 and under is old and dead.
So by your logic, the people "grinding" through lvl 1-84 shouldn't actually stop grinding/PVE and play the game?? Whether or not the content is old, etc is irrelevant. You still need to play through those levels to get to the apparent holy grail of... end game content. Why not have some fun along the way and learn how to play your character (regardless of whether everything changes when you awaken) and interact within the greater community. Its not just a waste of time, eh.

I'm pretty sure he didn't say (or mean) you shouldn't do anything else than just grind, just stated the fact, that probably things will stay like this in the future, as for the level 1-84 areas, skills, whatever. Which makes sense, as these levels aren't greatly unbalanced and it's only matter of some weeks 'till you hit 85 anyways, therefore it makes more sense to concentrate on endgame.

It's just that under 84 and perhaps even under 80; no meaningful guild is going to take you anyways, nor is there a chance you can contribute to anything among awakened characters.
In the old servers anyways, obviously, in the new servers there are fewer top level guys but still, reaching level 70 even takes under a week playing casually; why would you stop to "pvp"?
It's like PvPing with levels 12 around C4.
After awakening you change most if not all your skills anyways, so you have to relearn your char's new class. PvE is sufficient to learn the archetypes like tank, DD and so on anyways.
