Okay, i played ages ago mainly as Prophet. It was **** hard to lvl up even then, always some warcryer steals a buffers spot in groups.
And what did i see now after a comeback:
1. Stupid WC now even got ww and zerg chants (the only reason ppl used to take Prophets to groups was only them having those buffs)
2. Classes like Bishop/E Elder/S Elder now has nice magic damage skills to lvl up even solo, while the only Prophet is left with lvl 5 wind strike (skill ends at lvl 20) and Disrupt Undead whitch only works on undead targets and still ends at lvl 40.
So prove me wrong, but how should i lvl up? i hardly can get a group, cuz wc now is better even for archers groups, i cant even hunt solo, as i dont have any dmg skills to use. WTF of nerf is this?
Well, atm Prophets are the hardest to level solo and it should be close to impossible to find a party.
Also due to mentor system like 90% of your buffs are rendered completely useless, you can't recharge, you can't heal that great, nor tank or deal serious damage.
Therefore my suggestion would be to reroll, your class is obviously at a huge disadvantage to others here, and makes no sense to waste so much time trying to level it (orcs level a LOT more faster due to their infinite mana and decent damage, so if you're going for enchanter, it's better to pick an OL or WC).
So yeah, I always wondered why didn't they made some changes to prophets in GoD, it must be seriously suck to be one, unless you have a friend leveling you, or it's a boxed character.
if you search around there's 100page threads from prophets complaining about this. Truth is unless you are very social, clanned, and prepared to wait forever for parties you won't make it as a prophet. Especially since party size was reduced people are less willing to carry around "dead weight".
Yeah, sorry to say, reroll. On the plus side they made lower levels go by so fast it'll be just a blur. Pick an awakened class you want to become, follow the paths back, find a class you like and go from there. I bet it won't be as bad as it sounds.
Rerolling is pointless to me, even all enchanters gonna be same, i dont wanna looks of stupid orc and moan like a cow. Plus i've always played mainly only prp from c1 to c6 and just wanted a come back and play some again. as prp. But such bullnyerk just made me QQ and basically...quit.

How about sword singer or blade dancer? They're pretty good classes, easy to level and they're also needed. In the end it'll be the same enchanter as your prophet would be, only with longer ears and weird skin color (also a slightly gay look).
Be the leader. Make parties and invite DDs. Don't think that you'll get anywhere with just twirling your fingers and wait for a party, which pretty much is the same with all classes; but only the other classes (some people, not all) resort to dual/multi-boxing.
That might work with Kamas and such, but I doubt any grinding parties would take a prophet nowadays. Most of parties I've been to level 75+, players all had Mentor buffs, which makes prophets rather worthless. Also there's quite high amount of orcs ever since the infinite mana thing was discovered, so yeah, in the end leveling a prophet is a torture for both you and your party.
Its hard to find a pt but its not hard to have fun with some nice players who are not that rush to cap level. i have played as prophet for 2 weeks and now im lv73 with no problem finding a pt. sure some people just ignore u when they looking for wc only. But seriously, its a mmo, make some friends,get a nice clan, form a group with 1 or 2 friends, then people will come in the room for party. orc is not like much better, but people just too picky. Again, there are some nice players who want to play with you. sometime i pm my friends ask them if they are in a pt, they says yes but dont really like it. Then they drop the team and form a new team with me. Thats what mmo for, relax while hunting, and i love buff on single target or random people.
I have the same idea like you, dont feel like to be a orc, sometime i wonder if i play prophet just for the look lol. Let it go those prp haters, they just get stuck in the grinding world and never really enjoy the game which is wasting time.

The prophet needs to be the party leader and tell people what to do. If they don't like it, then find another one; it's not like they are the only DDs on the server. ^^ Also, remember to add people that are nice and respectful to your friend list. Those are future party members!! :)
I do not know why, for some reason there is this fear of being a party leader or even MA. 98% of the time when the party leader (from random parties) needs to go and asks who wants to be the party leader, the party chat goes... *cricket*. Then when I ask people to be MA, they usually go "no I don't want to" or "why can't the tank be the MA?"; even had an extreme one said "I'm going to leave party if I have to be the MA" lol.

Oh, and competent melee. And mana regeneration from melee, if I remember right.

Nope, now mana regen even from drain. That's why you see orcs with a pile of loot/herbs around them and never picking any. :)

Thats what I'm talking about. Another option is Kamael to 75 -> sub: Inspector -> Judicator -> Enchanter. OK, that'll take a while, but they don't sound anything like Orcs. ;) You see what we mean.
One more nice discovery while i was trying to duel for the first time. Mana burn now has 5 sec cool down timer. OMG this is just pathetic.. the only pvp skill prophet had and even this one is nerfed...
Wasnt it just better make no prophets in GOD then leaving then so nyerked up..
remember magmeld and shillen are full of ******s that came from 5000x server so they just think buffers are useless cuz they can't kill or because they can be boxed for ++buff only but pros know that a main buffer is 100000 times than a box especially in highlevel and in pvp these things really make difference (save your lol 5000x server history i don't care noob)
so if you or any other SE/EE/PP/WC/OL need clan and constant partys in magmeld send me a pm with your ingame name to clan you and assign a party to you. We love main buffers and support them ,) there are ppl that still knows how good a pp or any other buffer can be in a proper party so don't desperate
Indeed, not a good ideea for main char.
My first char was the Storm Screamer, but I abandoned it at 82 because the lack of mana pots and low armor. Then I made the actual main char, the Sigel Knight. While leveling the tank, I also leveled a 76 fenrir (bought level 60 from AH) with full top gear. The constant need of buffs made me grow my own Iss, so I started a Prophet. I leveled it until level 55 solo and then I passed the fenrir to the Prophet. Best way to level a Prophet... a well trained wolf. After 3-4 days the Prophet is now 73 and I don't think to be a problem for the fenrir (now level 78) to level the Prophet to level 80. After that... power leveling party with Sigel in Swamp.
That's what I've done... it's not the best way, but maybe someone get a few hints that suits his/her needs.

i m iss enchanter near 95, i need party a lot of time to lvling but i like more iss enchanter humans, orcs are ugly xaxaxa. yesterday i do pvp against orc iss enchanter and i did run him xaxax :P i think human iss better than orcs iss.
