Beware there are bogus emails going out! the address used is a fake ([email protected]) The email is titled "NCsoft security measure".
In it they tell you that your ncsoft account has been locked due to security and they link you to go login and verify it. DON'T DO THAT! If you question the site close all the browsers and reopen a new one and go directly to official L2 website!
It's the most basic and stupid scam,but it's easy to be trapped into it without thinking. Never ever follow links asking you to login,NC would never lock your account down and then ask you to login by following a link. You'd be able to respond to a GM via email anyways without ever needing to login or provide account information. If you are that unsure CALL THEM! Customer service was always great talk to in my experiences!
