What I expect from a clan:
From my 5 years of L2 and around 7 years of MMOs in general, I learned that the only things that one gains in the long run, are friends and some quality time playing a game with decent people. Toons, levels, gear, anything you accumulate IG fades away. Sooner or later.
I'm looking for a clan with a core group that knows this. Really knows this.
I'm not interested in "corporation like" clans that play for the soul purpose of being "pr0" and that don't understand that L2 is a game, not a full time job.
Probably this is a lot to ask, especially now - the new Bartz being a new server and all ...
What the clan should expect from me:
I'm writing this thread because I can't find any joy in soloing or being in random party everyday. Also, I compare dual-boxing with the situation when one decides to drink alone, but from 2 different glasses just to have the impression he/she's not alone ... you get the picture.
If the conditions are right, you'll have a dedicated member who will never fail your trust and will always answer "I'm here".
In my 5 years of L2 I've only been in 2 clans. And in the first one for only 6 months. This should give you a hint.
Knowledge of the game:
To be honest, I'm a little behind. There is a major difference between IL and the present chronicle. But I'm catching up.
Character wise, I'm most fond of the OL class. Played almost every other class.
