I'm not sure if you need to speak to Subclass NPC in Talking Island first - because he doesnt give you any quest, but you can just go and kill Cabrio to get the item.
I found out in patch notes, that such quest "Fate's Whispers" was modified. But i went to the old location, where Maetro Reonin used to be, its totally changed. Different mobs, not even a sign of Reonin. So what NPC and where do start this q. anyone knows?
For subclass quest you don't really need to go to talking island npc first. Push alt +M and select World info -> quest. Search for Fate's Whisper quest and you will see the new location of Ronin (yes, it is still in the area, but the mobs are not agro. My advice is to not try them on lvl 76 though :) ). The quest is pretty much the same. The modification is: Kabrio, Hallate and other rbs are now quest monsters. You still need a party to kill them or just w8 some party to kill them and to talk with the box. As quest monsters, they are respawning faster than before (around 30 mins ~1 hour. Not exactly sure). The other modification is that you dont need to stab Baium, except if you dont choose to. If you choose the other option you have to kill 30 (if i m not wrong) monsters in TOI (6 is good enough it wants only faction). You still need B grade crystals and top B weapon.
Yep, unfrotunatly Sweetnight is right. Managed to painfully get this quest done getting broke pretty much off the bat. The whole quest is easy enough, with quest mobs some of them you could solo if you're capable enough but better off doing it with 2-3 ppl at the least (very basic heals suffice). Only Golkonda giving problems thanks to it's cancel.
The top B-grade weapons on the other hand are non-existant, the cheapest you could find in the auction are like +7-8 SLS*SLS for 40kk+ lol. Better off making your own, takes like 450 SoP (Stone of Purity) and 2 SLS's for about 6kk each at Giran's weapon shop. Alternative afaik was Territory Wars but i don't know too much about that.
Note: Mentee buffs don't stay when you change to sub. They will stay if your mentor changes to his/hers as long as you are on your main.
