Bot Problem

I wonder if is there any GM online in game to catch and stop bot problem? I see a lot of botter running arround, especially some places where few ppl came to farm and train, such as swamp of screams, varka silenos and ketra.... So would you do something NC? Or just make bot be legal.

lol ip change?? lol they seem not to worry that those characters are spamming in shout for adena else they would ban character has nothing to do with IP change or not..if ur char is logged u got the ip..doesnt matter if u change it tomorrow or not..its account wise..and if NCsoft had some brains why not just jail every single adena seller out there...some jail time to spam lol

Honestly, at this point it seems like 80% of the server is botting. Sad to say but those who choose not to bot will be forever behind. Already seen a handful of Awakened botters.

Its hard to read something in chat except of ADENA SELLERS. All day all night spam in every town.

There is no way to prevent spam on the chat, and as far as I know they are banning accounts the thing is:

1. Game is free anyone can register an account
2. You can ban the ip or even the whole ip block so what? VPN exists...

So basicly this will be a never ending fight...

Best solution would be to either limit some chats to people with certain quests done or something alike and even so it would be just a matter of time to see them spamming but would probably reduce it.

Prix i need to thanks you. Guys be more like Prix that comes with ideas and not only problemas.

Something to limit the amount of screaming would be the solution to the adena sellers problem. Then they'll be whispering to everyone and /block will be the solution.

For bots i think that screenshots and petition to GM are the solution.

if like private servers looked up a mac address of router or modem and blocked it
maybe they could slow them down but wont ever change as we find ways to block idiots they weasel their heads back in, might aswell say you house will never ever get mice
