Stop paying for mentors you fools. You are making a market exist where one shouldn't. Nothing like getting a cool cash bonus with all the **** mentors already get from doing it.
1. there are much more wannabe mentees than wannabe mentors. so there should be some kind of incentive to choose from all the mentees, adena being the good variant.
2. 10% exp is honestly not much. its nothing, in fact. i would not bother having to sit logged all the time for this tiny bonus. sure, you do get milestones reward but they only occur pre-76, while the later part of exping to 86 is much longer than that.
3. if the mentee payed some cash, he would have an incentive to not grief the mentor by cancelling the contract with penalty on mentor. griefers who only become a mentee to immediately quit for the heck of it will now need to spend cash for that which would decrease their amount - at least for those mentors who mentor for cash.

Fully agree with this , mentees get no penalties for canceling contracts and they just hop on & off mentors every time they login , its annoying . This way people have to think twice before making a contract with a mentor.
The thing with randoms and randoms. I understand the issues of newer players but personally i wanted to find a clan first, and then a Mentor, so i can have someone to relate to, to talk to and someone who i know to be trustworthy.
Also mentors don't just get the 10% exp bonus, they also get smth else (fgot name) for which they can buy things, this happens on lv40, lv50 and every 1 level after that. And that, if anything, is the true value in mentoring, i think, i'm still a Mentee ^^.
ya 100kk on a new server is kind of rediculous and people think they have to pay for it which is just sad. 10kk on the other hand is no big deal which I see it going for on most of the other servers.

Does the panther still eat the exp? That sucks. I thought when they changed the summoning system, it would have applied to the Dark Avengers and Dorf summons too.
a ton more mentees then mentors creates a market. I personally charge a refundable deposit. If you leave you do not get it back, little comp for my lockout. If you don't level at a decent pace you don't get it back.
Mentoring system design is very bad. 7 days penalty for mentor (even if mentee got 86 lvl) and 0 penalty for mentee. "Thanks for leaving toon online 24/7 but you have d/c and dont log for 10 min and I need exp, so I change mentor making you 7 days penalty, gl". Nice story. I prefer to keep mentee slots for my alts and friends. But if I get money I can be sure that mentee will not leave and it it anyway leave - I can adena compensation for penalty.
I am really wondering if mentees still hop their mentores, i mean this is only possible if there are more mentee slots than available mentees...and reading all the lf mentor..i wonder how the hopper easily get his next mentor.
