Right so you want me to invite randoms and spend my time buffing them for nothing?
What about the people you buff that come back every 5 mins asking for buffs again and again?
I charge people not for profit but to stop them nagging me every 5 mins for more buffs. If you want ISS buffs level a char to 85. Otherwise expect to compensate someone else for there time.
I was hunting in Argos the other day alongside my Doom Cryer and Hierophant and someone asked me twice if I wanted Iss buffs for 250K. Cryer and Hiero aren't comparable to Iss, but Iss buffs aren't that important (in WoA, at least) :D

250k ? That's quite funny. I would rather have free Cryer/PP buffs anyday rather than pay.
They don't come back to me every 5, they ask after 30, at which time, if I'm around and feel up to it I buff em,usually I'm off buffing in a party out fighting and tell them that.
Charging them so they don't bother you seems a bit backwards.
Remember what it felt like wanting buffs? I feel great when I can help them, and feel great when I'm not able to, as I'm buffing a party.
this is comming from innova servers, people are used to pay for buffs there.
and btw the main value of iss buffs seems to lie in Harmony buffs (one of 3 can be active - warrior, wizard and knight). the rest of its buffs' effects can be obtainable from dc/bd/sws.
5 minute buffs are the same stuff as dances/songs, and the 30 min buffs are the same as old 20 min buffs and prophecies (but prophecies/chant of magnus/vop are better than the 30 min drum thing if you use the right one for you)
aero healer's buffs are the same stuff as all old 20 min buffs plus the prophecy replacement. so nothing new at all, and lacks dances/songs effects. although aero healer has a 1 hour buff that adds auto-rez, which is nice if you don't get logged out, and it also has 1 hour reuse so i doubt it's going to be cheap...
i think aero healers can also try selling full mp/hp/cp restoration service each 10 minutes.

A bit out of thread, but i wanna take the chance and ask about something here. I have a SD and a DC box, is it worth it awakening both of them, or do they end up being exactly the same?
I mean, SD keeps the rythms from 2nd/3rd class, but is there a need for them at 85+ ?
no there is not point awakening both of them to enchanter. If you have stones of destiny you can awaken one to enchanter and one to healer though, that would be useful.
there wont be any difference between those 2 enchanters in terms of buffs, they both get the same better buffs plus those active skills are the same for all enchanters, except some racial skills that only matter in pvp/oly/etc.
btw, charging for iss buffs isnt that ridiculous. milks arent free in towns so i guess charging 50k for half hour buffs (for strangers) would be ok, they make more anyway.

WHy not? YOur choice is to pay and get fast full buff. or spend time waiting for free buff (if someone even gonna waste time buffing random unknown ppl)

Honestly if you are truly against them charging for buffs, then when you see one shouting that they will buff for a fee, go ahead and start shouting that you will buff for free or even for donations.

1. The new players bring this trend with them! So its their fault.
2. You are free not to buy
3. They have a lot more adena than we had , cause of quest
4. They make pro xp with mentor and vitality
5. Also 150k for 30 mins of super buffs arent expensive.
