Does anyone else have a problem to logon or is it just me?

So I haven't played L2 since like C2 or C3 and heard from a friend that L2 has gone free to play, so I decided to start trying it out again but when I try to login to the game it just says "You are currently logging in." and that's pretty much how far it goes. Been trying to login since Monday night but still no progress. According to http://www.glop.org/lineage2/ all servers are down at it's been that way since I tried to connect since Monday. I've opened ports in my router and windows firewall.

Suggestions?

stupid question but do u have the lastest GoD update?

That list of servers is very old. Now there are 5 (I think) servers with different names, so that list doesn't work anymore.

they also broke the old feeds. currently the only way to tell a server is online is to try logging in.

i'd almost bet you have a Hosts file problem.

I didn't have the old installation left, I downloaded the NCLauncher and just let it download and install and I didn't change anything in the folder

The servers are up.

Try and temporarily disable your antivirus "suite" and firewall, then try to log in. If it works, then its an issue with those two and if it still doesn't work, then there's another reason.

Also, as Spud says, check your host file, especially if you have previously played on private servers or used some older bot programs from back then.
