Because players from various time zones play at different hours and from different locations, we want to make the most popular scheduled server activities available to everyone. Therefore, players are invited to vote on the Castle Siege times for the Bartz server!
I saw that other new servers got their sieges twice faster then the almost 6 weeks Bartz needs to wait. This is dissapointing as Bartz characters level faster then the other 2 new servers.
Edit: I really think that Januari 8th would be a good date to start sieges.

To all you EU people that wanted an EU servers: This is your chance. Go make yourself an EU server. If it becomes an NA timed server I'm gonna laugh to no end.
I'm not on Bartz but I have got to say this is a FANTASTIC thing you're doing! Thank you! While I doubt there's enough of a Hawai'i contingent to tip odds into my favor (:p), its great to see this. I've played City of Heroes for years, with our SG meetup being a compromise time for the US and EU players, so hopefully a good time can be arranged that doesn't require getting up before the roosters or staying up all night ^_^

I will explain why, sorry i thought it was obvious. Due to the fact that there was a Vitality event when Bartz started and not when the other servers started the majority of players had always their 'VP' bar (partially)full all the time .
This resulted in having many awakened characters already after 6 days.
Since awakened characters have mentees earlier etc the xp boost is excelled after these 6 days thus resulting in even more 85+ chars now.

Wow open an NA server tell everyone expect NA times and then two weeks later have a vote? Typical NCsoft West. Perhaps the wrong people where laid off......
It will be quite disappointing if the sieges times are geared for the euro time zone. It would have been nice to know this was not going to be a NA time zone server prior to the launch of the server.
In the future maybe do these kind of polls prior to release of the server?
+!10 to ncsoft I am a cst player but i do agree with the euro players we need to make homes for everyone. and i understand there is a euro server set but also know that it does not compare to the us set. if us sucked i would play in the euro set so enjoy. and vote!

Hey american kids who ever told you the server will be in eu time zone? Its a pool to change a little the time for main events like seage or oly so most of eu players dont need to be awake at 2 am and 4 am for seage or oly.
And why you hate everyone outside US so much? Did your parents told you to do so? Or you are just born haters? And remember to be in peace with everyone you first must be in peace with yourself!;)

Thats quite a statement. I dont think anyone is making any hate speeches here. We were all told they were opening only us time zone servers. It has nothing to do with hate.

Well, if the results so far are correct, the siege times won't change much from the standard US times anyway (currently the poll results are 22:00 GMT+1 - if that's supposed to be the time for the first siege, then it is nearly the same as the current times on Chronos, which are 23:00 GMT+1 and 3:00 GMT+1).

Gotta agree though... Why make a new server withouth (EU) indication to it, and when the server is up & running ask 2 weeks later what times sieges will be? I'd say let Bartz be a US server (as probably intended), and add an extra EU server...

You pretty much need to be awakened to attend sieges. First sieges on Shilen and only one castle was taken. Most thought none would be taken, it's better that it happens later so more people can participate in first sieges.
Please note that the poll now closes 1 hour earlier than originally planned. The vote details page has been updated and a website news announcement was made to notify the community of the change. As of now, there are about 3 hours left before the poll closes.
All the americans complaining: why are you making characters on an EU server? We have only 1 and it is so heavy that it crashes 5 times per day. Yes please make an other server with EU time such that all new players go there or brazilian times such that I can login at least at night.
Other thing, people go naia also because there they can get a mentor and level in a few weeks to 85. People don't want to go to ipaynova and I don't want to go because no way I start from 0.
Perhaps you can block all american (north and south) from naia if they have no character there already?

You will set time zone on Bartz GMT-4 and here you have.

I have a question , i'm a litle confuse : i first created a char on naia server when l2 become f2p , bartz wasn't open back then , didn't play for a while and in january when i've started playing again in the list of servers i see Bartz and beside it in red letters apear " RECOMENDED" , so i started playing on Bartz ; now , if bartz is a NA server, why the heck nc soft recomended me Bartz server ( me been euro of course ) , i don't get it ??? :confused:

Cos the other servers are on the limit or near.
Bartz has lower population, so they recommend new players to start there.

I bet NCsoft is just tricking us all. Note that when you "vote" you move with siege window times - colored in a way so you probably missed that part as did I when "voted" for Bartz. So you are happy EU player and click onto 19 o'clock then notice you will put these white selection on something like 18-20 + 21-23 -> that perfectly makes server set to NA times. Fail! Feel scummed? I do.
To get Euro times for server you need to put selection on 14-16 + 18-20 times when you vote. Means you actuly need to click onto 15 on graph when picked GMT+1 time zone in box.
Poll results are not clear same like voting procedure. It's is why only 57 people voted for GMT+1 when Bartz majority is without any doubt Europeans.
Also there should be announcement on server spaming all the time about poll, because a lot of players simple don't read forum.
A lot of crap has been made, and NCwest need to clean it up.
