Bartz first impressions

So i've played for about 2 days on Bartz and sofar:

~ The english involved in the server makes Arnold Schwarzenegger an english proffesor.
~ On the same page with the english lvl is the noob-o-meter lvl, ive watched terrible things go down in Kamalokas...i guess this can be explained if you combine f2p + lvl 50 effortlessly.
~ ppl never seem to use party matching system...too well organized in clans? i doubt
~ On the bright side comming from Innova, the path to awakening system rocks
~ No lags issues despite the long distance.

So how do you believe Bartz will evolve? Worth sticking around? I like populated stuff, i'd rather get KS'ed than getting owned in instances from tanks failing to realise they got a skill that makes a raid hit em...
ok
Neven hade problems so far with bad english, sure there are some but hey its a MMORPG ppl all over the world are playing so what do you assume?

So far the server looks good and is not over crowded but still enought players. :)
I started playing just yesterday and I'm already level 37. The game has gone from an insane grindfest to too much of the opposite. Levels, adena and equipment just keep pouring in. I realise that this may not be the case at higher levels but it is a shame how little meaning the lower levels now have. If new players follow the questline like I did they will miss out on the majority of beautiful low-level areas the game has to offer.
Which brings me to another point... You always start out at the new Talking Island now, regardless of race. NCSoft sure made it easy for themselves with this one. The lore of the different races, the different architecture, the different mentality and the unique landscapes in their respective homelands are all ignored now. Years ago, when I finally turned level 20 as a young orc and travelled to the mainland, it was exciting seeing all the other races. Throughout the game I felt a kind of kinship with all the other orc players. Not to mention a certain rivalry against the humans.
Oh well. Perhaps the majority of players won't care. Perhaps they do not roleplay as much as I do when they play the game. I think it is a shame though. I say tone down the quests a bit (at least the low level ones) and bring back the race specific starting areas.
After like 4 or 5 years I finally gave L2 another chance, I started 3 days ago, so I was enjoying myself playing on the new Bartz server... and then I can't stay logged in for more than 2 minutes without disconnecting...

I must say, this TRULY SUCKS... is not my Inet connection, thats for sure... The server sucks... with so many and so frecuent disconnects it's nearly impossible to play...

Don't get me wrong, I love the game, back in the day I played on private unofficial servers... and I had a blast, now I was expecting something even better now with all the new content on the official server... so far I've been kind of dissapointed by the frecuent disconnects.. I really hope that issue gets fixed ASAP...

well thats bcoz the current idea is to enjoy the new features and not wasting months just to reach those contents. New Lineage starts from awakening, 1~85 is just training.
And the rest of the starting villages became now high level places.
Neven hade problems so far with bad english,

I have not too.

I agree. I enjoyed being kicked out of the light elven lands because they hated the dark elven race. The low Lv zones were definitely one of the best things I liked about lineage 2. Hell, I'd play a chronicle 1 server if ncsoft offered it.
i must agree on one thing... after coming from innova this place looks like heaven. ofc ncsoft has its own flaws but if u think that here is sth bad or wrong i wonder what would u say after playing on innova :D trust me guys you dont even want to know...
