I just recently started playing Lineage 2 again after many years of being inactive. I haven't played since before the Kamaels were introduce, so I have a few questions regarding the game now.
1. How does the PVP/PK system work now?
I remember killing purples and killing reds and getting PVP credit, however, I am not receiving this credit anymore. I'd also like to know how the karma system works. My father went red because someone kept KS'ing his mobs. I go to kill him and his karma does not change. Does the level difference matter (I was 6 levels lower than him when I killed him)? How are PVP points obtained, because I have killed 2 reds and a purple player so far and have not gained any points.
2. How are green names obtained?
From what I read, green names are obtained through killing red players. I also read that in order for your name to turn green, you must be the first player to kill the PKer. Well I have kill 2 red players so far, one of them being my father whose first time it was going red, and nothing changed. My name is still white, I have 0/0 on PVP/PK, and no rep was gained. Am I misunderstanding the system?
