This is probably a very common question within old school players, but I am new at this, so here it goes. I would like to know the most appropriate set up of dyes for Dark Avenger/Hell Knight. Also, does old set ups works with the newly awaking classes?

You don't really need dyes anymore on a DA, and they get wiped when you awaken. There are new dyes to get post-awakening.

+STR -DEX would probably work best, especially since DEX no longer influences a lot of things. I wouldn't even bother doing that.
