I am a Bladedancer and i would like to hear your opinion on what buffer i should doublebox for my BD....... Prophet or WC... and why? ... or none of them? :)
If you are going to solo, than choose the proph, if you are going to play with people you know IRL and know you will be in a party all the time, then go WC.
But you will need the buffer after 86 when you are done being mentored so just do a proph imo, they are amazing little buffers. Even though they don't give you VR, just hunt in areas that drop VR pots, they also have battle heal for emergency heals :D

thank you my friend... i also think that prophet is the best choice cause of blessed to soul/mind... but lacks of VR buff... :(
Why would u bother to make a buffer? Thanks to mentoring buffs you can level up very fast. And in the end you will be Iss Enchanter so you will have all the buffs....

Best duo/combo in the game has always been BD/WC. Warcryer has every buff a melee char needs, and your dances only further enhances your abilities. But that's only if you prefer the hard/slow grind of the current system (lol?). If you have a mentor, you won't need a buffer period. In fact, it took me a couple of days to get my DA up without one. As soon as I got one? 16 levels in one night. Seriously, go find yourself one...

WC, prophet, BD, sws, judicator and Overlord. All awake to Iss Enchanter. And their buffs gets stacked up together. So yes after level 86 you'd have 2 exactly the same classes. Less their racials and stats. So having a bd + buffer, could only help you level from 75 to 85. Worth it? Doesn't seem so

Yeah you will end up being a full buffer. To be honest, its not worth it to make an alt buffer, you will barely need it until 75, and beyond that, I would actually get a nuker/overlord to get quicker to 85 through the Primeval Island quest.

K, so all these people on the forms that say you don't need a buffer are scrubs, you need a buffer when you reach the higher levels, so just bring up a prophet, everything will be much better in the future!

Pre-GoD buffers were essential, even getting might 1 way back in prelude was amazing. Mentor buffs negate the need for a buffer all-together. As a bladedancer, he has the added bonus of full Mentor buffs (you'll definitely find a mentor if you're nice/patient) and his dances until 86. Then he becomes an Iss Enchanter, which gives... the same buffs as mentor buffs.
Tell me, how are we "scrubs"? Because we know the game? Or because the only reason why you're here is your server didn't upgrade to GoD and you're here because it's free?

Yeah, but when he's level 86, he'll be awakened into an Iss enchanter and can just BUFF HIMSELF.
