Requiem Dual Blunts or Dual Swords? Which and why?
All the databases are outdated and its pretty hard to find information on anything anywhere. Does anyone know what the major advantage/disadvantages of picking either swords/blunts is? (besides the obvious attack speed/damage)
You will get a significant boost in crit rate from dual swords since the base crit rate is much more than blunts.
With full buffs with counter crit proc'd you do 10x more dmg with crits.
Um, there's no difference in attack speed/damage between dual swords and dual blunts. The difference is the same as between swords and blunts: blunts have +8 accuracy (compared to swords), while swords have double critical rate (compared to blunts).
I planned to go blunts for the increased damage SA and +4 bonus, but I changed my mind after discovering they're both minuscule. Swords will still net you more damage, specially full buffed (unless mobs/enemies have really high evasion where every point counts? I doubt it. Anyway you have skills to spam). Crits were always the way to go for DPS.
What do you mean?
In pvp you play with skills you don't care for normal crits much. Am I wrong?
Actually in OLY against healers my skills did miniscule damage.. On 2 occassions I had given up and just started normal attacks.. then bam crit and took half their hp and killed them in one hit.
