it happens on Magmeld and Naia (coz i have only here chars), is there anything i can do to get my items or sth back? im gonna write a ticket now... but if u ppl wanna just say sth, go ahead...

I never doing it... my friend got hacked too and we don't use bot or other stuff... Ncsoft can see if we used it...

IE 9 ver. 9.0.8112.16421 update ver. 9.0.4... yep all the time the same, updating with microsoft updater ;C (before path of awaken was earlier ver. i think ;c)...
Some say there is a vulnerability in the system to deliver the items, of the path to awakening, so when ordering items there, do it fast and immediately logout (clean cookies everyday).
We're not sure if it's a security breach in the system, in most cases is a failure of user, I recommend changing the id / pass account 1 time a week for a difficult pass, and not to forget to write on paper, NOT in the same PC, uses a password difficult, with various symbols, numbers, majuscule, etc, do not share with anyone, even your best friends or family.
Do not add many exceptions to antivirus, operating at 100%.
Search all your emails and delete any that contains even a trace of password.

In principle due to ActiveX all IE are fishy.
Not sure what Anti-Vir are you using but if any M$ I would say...
maybe you should look really scan your PC.
It is just example.
But as you can see even with patched IE9 ppl got troians.
Easiest way to get them:
- accessing mail with attachments
- browsing pages ... not trusted (craks, etc) (*)
- downloading and installing unknown 'shareware' software.
- etc.
(*) some of so called 'commercials' use simple mechanism of browser caching, what download page content into PC.
Most cases they works in 2 steps.
1st Your Browser download 'banner' (us long you not work in Secure mode)
2nd Server blindly (mostly using ActiveX) call pgm from deafault location
If your PC is 'very' standard you got troian just only browsing page.

i have almost same situations my first char on naia was naked i thought its bug or sth after putting of event, i entered my char on Magmeld and my char was in weapon store (wtf? i have 64lvl so what should i do there?) i got only 100k left almost all items dissapeard i was like wtf? then i came fast to wh and saw nothing ;c then i relog to my second char and got same situations but i dont remember if it was in store 2 coz i was very angry ;c...

Im desesperate, i dont have adena, clothes, weapon, nothing, i cant play!
My two cents worth of advice is to go change password right now, scan your system with multiple malware scanners (including online), then change your password again, and submit a support ticket to the GMs. Then just wait. If there really is no keylogger on your system and you didn't give out the password then NCSoft has an issue and I personally wouldn't bother playing an account that was compromised until you hear back from them. They'll either restore your gear and money or they won't, but in the meantime I'd just play something else.
1. NC has bug and when you access to Awaken Path = you are hacked.
If it would be true 90-95% of players should run naked now... including me on 3 accounts. Still it is not true. :rolleyes:
2. NC database has been compromised not long time ago.
If it would be true most of "old players" would be naked including me ... not as it is now when vast majority are new players (new reactivated).
There has to be something that connect those ppl.
We all using NC software so game client should be safe.
Most of us has forum access so it is not direct source of problems.
All of you who got hacked, most likely you got some software what have or 2 functions or you got nice silent key-loger.

In principle I see IE users with MS anti-vir.
Possible most of you run on Admin account rights.
I try to be very strict in security but still a year ago I got some nasty worm.

1st. It is not that all did excatly same things and have same settings.

2nd about 'so many ppl'
Considering we have 5 servers each 6000 chars online I can guess we have at least 10000 players (assume in worst scenario everyone is 3 boxing :) ).
Let say 20% are RTM farmers we have around 8000 ppl here.
Ok now let say ONLY 10 % of Hacked inform on forum they got hit.
I counted around 20 ppl. That gives roughly 200 ppl.
(NC knows betters but heck im not NC!)
So ... we have 3 % of ppl hit by ****.
Even if we say only 5 % inform about **** we end up with 6% of all.
I would say knowing scale of warms/viruses etc - we can say I it is OK ratio.
Still we don't know what are sources - so I'm not going post anymore.
Just I have advice.
Scan PC for ALL possible scenario.
Find source, remove it, change pwd.. and wait NC reaction.
with this many ppl i mean 'few' coz u know, 1-2 k bad things happen, but if its a lil bit more like 5-10 it giving to think ;C...

maybe we have some keylogger but how do we get it ;C like i said i didnt download anything even when i start play with char (maybe l4d from steam s.s), didnt open 'weird' pages ;c etc. etc. and im sure that this 5 ppl hacked have other antivir which means they have other checking for viruses/keyloggers etc. so it means that they have to be sth like 5 different keyloggers, and we got exactly this which our antivir cant find them ;C (sry if u dont gonna understand this :C but cant better explain ;C)...

yep admins from private servers check all accounts if they work on global and if they find some they stole items, just to have some...

What response did u get? So far I've only gotten generic responses. Like my support ticket is with the right team and will be qued SOON. Ok well, its been over a week and my patience is growing thin.
There is definitely something weird going on and it gets old seeing everyone blame the player. This is something on NCSOFT side and the less NCSOFT says about it the more I know its them.
I did not get hacked but one of my characters right after maintenance lost its weapons and jewels (which were the ones you get from the awakened quest). There was still 25 days left on them. The armor was not missing oddly. I have to wonder what other items are seemingly just disappearing?
So bugs and holes there seem to be. Fix your game and stop blaming the regular player.
Also, communication to your players would be something they call "PROFESSIONAL".
