I would hardly call charging mentees for mentoring services a scam. Since the patch, I have had mentees join in contract then leave the next day giving me a 7-day penalty. I havent had a mentee in 3-weeks due to penalty and see no point to try to add another.
Charging them partly assures they are serious and until the penalty for them leaving is removed from the mentor its a good practice.
instead, why not focus your energy on banning the bots who run 24/7 and earned 200+ billion XP in 1 month?
