It's absolutely impossible, or really very hard to log on Naia... There will be Territory Wars and Sieges during the weekend and I wander how will we ever be in game to enjoy the action...
The reason is pretty simple, I will try to resume it in a few points:
1) This new event brought really unneeded extra activity on a server which is already full...
2) Since to gather the Specter of Light items you need to be logged in game for 2 hours everyone is leaving their toon inactive on... was it so hard to give the NPC of the event the chance to give those 25 items all at once and once a day?
3) Many players are making new free accounts lvl 1 to gather more Specter of Lights to make profit, just look at Talking island, there are many new toons just standing there doing nothing...
4) You can gather those quest items on every char of your account, so you can spend 14 hours permanently online just to gather more Specter of Lights to make profit...
PLEASE NC SOFT, TEMPORARY DISABLE ALL THE NEW CREATED ACCOUNTS IN THE LAST 3 DAYS JUST FOR THE SIEGES AND THE TERRITORY WARS TO HAPPEN PROPERLY AND SEND A GM TO DISCONNECT ALL THOSE LVL 1 TOONS STANDING IN TALKING ISLAND

PS: What could prevent an adena seller to create 100 new accounts just to gather Specter of Lights and then to resell them to have free adena for sale??? Come on, if you don't want adena to be sold, why are you making those merchants life so easy???

Se wut i did there? I just removed 70% of population AKA developers mistakes.
solution:
1) ban all "adena for real money" sellers
2) Make new mentoring system => Mentor/ee profit while offline
3) Event level cap 40+ = No D grade ***** anymore + no bots in TI village

The madness is that if you really look at the way the game is (MIS) managed it makes you believe that it is managed to the benefit of the MRT/Cheaters.
Really imo it would be impossible for NC to screw this game up any more than they already have.
After having played a private server i would think that a person would believe that the offical server is a cruel joke.
I wonder how monumentally stupid NCSoft devs are to KEEP MAKING events and game mechanics which FORCE you to stay logged on as long as possible to get rewards.
It's as if they DO NOT WANT people to come home in the evening and log on to play, you pretty much HAVE to log on in the morning and stay logged on even if you are not at home at all, just to be able to play in the evening.
For the record, I am trying to log on to Chronos now just to xp a bit, and for the last half hour I am spamming login attempts and keep getting the "high server traffic" message. And I just know that if I actually manage to log on, I will see hundreds of people just sitting afk in town - and no, I do not mean the Giran private shops...

Same with me on Naia. Hours atempting this and high trafic blablabla. And what bothers me to no extent is that EVEN IF you can login, if you get a DC, it's more hours trying to login...
